RICHARDSON PRIMARY SCHOOL).
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on 19th October 2023 made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 (as amended).
2. The effect of these proposals will be to reduce the existing school start and finish times to half hour in the a.m. and p.m. of the School Street restrictions (Pedestrian and Cycle Zone - referred to as the Zone' hereafter) during school term-time (Monday to Friday) only, in the following parts to this notice (except no waiting at any time restrictions) with access for residents & businesses of those streets, school staff, blue badge users and SEND pupils who register for a permit exemption, further access will apply to any vehicle being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes on:
2.1 (PTO 2168) Stebon & St Paul's Way Foundation Primary Schools - permit identifier 'S11':
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.40-9.10am & 3.15-3.45pm on Wallwood Street, between Thomas Road and St. Paul's Way.
2.2 (PTO 2169) Hague Primary School - permit identifier 'S12':
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.45-9.15am & 3.15-3.45pm on Finnis Street (between Wilmot Street and Three Colts Lane).
2.3 (PTO 2170) Harbinger Primary School - permit identifier 'S14':
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.45-9.15am & 3.15-3.45pm on Cahir Street between Marsh Street and Westferry Road.
2.4 (PTO 2171) St. Saviour's Church of England Primary School - permit identifier (S15):
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.45-9.15am & 3.15-3.45pm on Chrisp Street (between Brabazon Street and Morris Road), Godalming Road, Hobday Street, Carmen Street (between Bowen Street north kerb and Hobday Street) and Brabazon Street (between Alton Street and Chrisp Street).
2.5 (PTO 2172) Wellington Primary School - permit identifier 'S16':
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.30-9am & 3.15-3.45pm on Wellington Way (between Merchant Street and Tidworth Road), Dimson Crescent, Ireton Street, Archibald Street and Tidworth Road.
2.6 (PTO 2173) Harry Gosling Primary School - permit identifier 'S17':
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.40-9.10am & 3.15-3.45pm on Henriques Street (between Commercial Road and Fairclough Street).
2.7 (PTO 2174) Clara Grant Primary School - permit identifier 'S18':
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.15-8.45am & 2.45-3.15pm on Fern Street from the junction of Devons Road westwards for 123m.
2.8 (PTO 2175) Marion Richardson Primary School -permit identifier 'S19':
Zone with prohibition of motor vehicles to operate Mon-Fri 8.45-9.15am & 3.15-3.45pm on Head Street and Senrab Street (from its junction with Antill Road) to Head Street.
3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 30th October 2023 and all relevant documents, can be obtained by emailing: parking.TMO@ towerhamlets.gov.uk until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
4. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
5. The Council will be considering in due course whether the provisions of the modified Experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely. Any person wishing to make relevant comments or objections to such indefinite continuation of the provisions, may within a period of six months from 19th October 2023, (or if these Orders is varied by another Order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the Act, six months from the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force) in writing and must state the grounds on which it is made and sent to - Parking and Mobility Services, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E1 0HJ or via emailing to the address in paragraph 3 above.
