Princes Street, Innerleithen

Temporary Closing Order No 2 2023

The Scottish Borders Council (Princes Street, Innerleithen) (Temporary Closing) Order No 2 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 23 October 2023 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:00 on 3 November 2023 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Princes Street, Innerleithen from Chambers Street to Number 25.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Chambers Street, Buccleuch

Street, Montgomery Street and Princes Street to the point of closure, for

northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.

Leithen Road, Innerleithen

Temporary Closing Order 2023

The Scottish Borders Council (Leithen Road, Innerleithen) (Temporary Closing) Order 2023 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 23 October 2023 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00 each day. The Order is required for patching works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Leithen Road, Innerleithen from Strand to Pine Lee.

The alternative route for southbound traffic is via the B709, A7, B710, A72 and the B709 to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
