What is happening?

BARNES WAY (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council
by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has
today made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from
proceeding along Barnes Way from Raich Carter Avenue to Barnes
Way Roundabout , Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and
operatives during carriageway resurfacing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
The Order will come into effect 13th November 2023 and may
continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until
the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period
of approximately 14 days.

MORLEY STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council
by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has
today made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without
a vehicle from proceeding along Morley Street, approximately 82m
from Hill Street to Stoneferry Road, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and
operatives during works to remove a single overhead pipe bridge
crossing by demolition techniques.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 13th November 2023 and may
continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until
the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period
of approximately 9 hours between 8am and 5pm on 13th November
2023.

CROWLE STREET
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council
proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in pursuance of powers granted
by the Secretary of State under Section 74 and Part 2 of Schedule 8
and under Paragraph 8 of Schedule 9 of the Traffic Management
Act 2004.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce new double yellow lines on
the south side of Crowle Street from Ferries Street to the eastern end
of Crowle Street. New double yellow lines are also proposed on the
north side of Crowle Street, extending for a distance of 20 metres
from the eastern end the street.
The purpose of the Order is considered necessary to facilitate traffic
flow and ensure access to the premises at the eastern end of
Crowle Street.
A copy of the draft Order, the relevant plan and a statement of the
Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available for
inspection during normal office hours at the General Reception Area,
The Kingston upon Hull City Council, The Guildhall, Kingston upon Hull,
HU1 2AA.

Objections to the proposed Order, stating the grounds for objection
should be sent in writing to Legal Services at Kingston upon Hull City
Council, The Guildhall, Kingston upon Hull HU1 2AA (ref: JGO/39800-
1484) by 13th November 2023.
In submitting an objection it should be noted that the personal data
and correspondence relating to any objection will be placed on file
with the Council in order that they can contact you directly to address
the issues raised. If any person does not wish personal data to
be retained by the Council, they should state why when submitting
the objection.

TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847
ORDER FOR THE PREVENTION OF
OBSTRUCTION IN STREETS
REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE, KINGSTON UPON HULL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council
have today made an Order under Section 21 of the Town Police
Clauses Act 1847 for the purpose of preventing obstructions in
the length of street in the City of Kingston upon Hull hereinafter
mentioned on the occasion of a Remembrance Sunday Service, on
12th November 2023.
The Order:-
(a) prohibits any person (except upon the direction or with the
permission of a police constable in uniform) from driving, riding
or propelling any vehicle or causing or permitting any vehicle to
wait in or on that length of the following:-
Ferensway north bound (from Spencer Street to Anlaby Road on
the East Side of the carriageway; Ferensway south bound from
Lombard Street to Anlaby Road on the West Side of the
carriageway); North Street (full length);
Brook Street (full length); West Street (full length); Paragon Street
(from South Street to the Cenotaph), and Pease Street (from
Anlaby Road to St Luke’s Street), Kingston upon Hull, between
6am to 1pm on the 12th November 2023,
(b) requires any person directed or permitted by a police constable
in uniform to drive, ride or propel a vehicle or to cause or permit
a vehicle to wait on or in the said length of street during the said
hours on the said day to obey the directions of the said police
constable and of any other police constable in uniform, and
(c) requires all persons present in the said length of street during
the said hours on the said day to comply with the directions of
any police constable in uniform.
The purpose of these closures is to ensure the safety of the public
and operatives during a Remembrance Sunday Service.
The Order does not apply to fire brigade vehicles, ambulance and
police vehicles.
The penalty for an infringement of the Order is a fine upon conviction
not exceeding Four hundred pounds.
A copy of the said Order is available for inspection during normal office
hours at the Reception Office at the Guildhall, Kingston upon Hull.
