What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION; RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION NO _) ORDER 202_-TRO/23/29

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to: 1. Replace a permit holder bay with a disabled parking bay and replace a single yellow line restriction with a permit holder bay on Falcon Ave; 2. Replace a permit holder bay with a disabled parking bay on Bellevue Cres; 3. Replace a disabled parking bay with a permit holder bay on Abbey St; 4. Replace a permit holder bay with a disabled parking bay and replace a disabled parking bay with a permit holder bay on Warrender Pk Rd; 5. Extend a disabled parking bay by replacing a section of 24-hour waiting restriction and loading prohibition on West Register St; 6. Introduce disabled parking bays on Northfield Gdns, Saughtonhall Dr, Mackinnon Cres and Craigentinny Rd; 7. Remove disabled parking bays on Oxgangs Farm Ter, Portland St, Eva Pl, Oxgangs Farm Ln, Oxgangs Pk, Wardieburn Pl North, Findlay Ave, Grierson Cres, Dundrennan Cotts, Priestfield Ave, Muirhouse Ave, McLaren Rd, Calder Gdns, Rankin Dr, Bangholm Pl, Mackinnon Cres, Northfield Gdns and Northfield Sq.
Details of the draft Order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed free of charge, between 9:30 to 15:30 Mon-Fri from 20/10/23 to 10/11/23 at Waverley Court Reception or online during the same period at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders and www.tellmescotland. gov.uk. Objectors must state their reasons in writing, stating reference TRO/23/29 to Traffic Orders, Place, Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG, or by email to TRO. consultations@edinburgh.gov.uk, not later than 10/11/23. Objections should state the name and address of the objector. If you are responding to this consultation and your comments or objection relate to any particular location/s or element/s of the proposals, it would be helpful if you could identify those in your response.
