Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential utility works

Operational Dates:

21 October 2023 "At any time" or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit certain movement of traffic as detailed below:

• No entry into Montagu Road from the junction with Conduit Lane & Kenninghall Road;
• Banned right turn into Montagu Road from Conduit Lane N18;
• Banned Left turn into Montagu Road from Shropshire House N18; and
• Banned left turn from access road outside 51/53 Montagu Rd N18.

While the restrictions are in force local diversions will be in operation.

BRAMLEY ROAD N14 - 4082

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

21 October 2023 "At any time" for 9 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend Parking on both sides of the road, between Nos. 187 and 189a Bramley Road.

GOAT LANE AND HOE LANE EN1 - 4083

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Improvement works

Operational Dates:

21 October 2023 2At Any Time" for 9 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close these roads at the New River Bridge, between a point in line with the entrance to Bliss House, Goat Lane and a point in line with the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Hoe Lane EN1. (Whole Bridge and 10m either side).

TURKEY STREET EN1 - 4083

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Improvement works

Operational Dates:

23 October 2023 "At Any time" for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close the footbridge over the new river from a point in line with the common boundary of Nos. 141/143 Turkey Street EN1 for approximately 40 metres westwards ( Whole Bridge and 10m either side).

SILVER STREET EN1 - 4084

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential UKPN works

Operational Dates:

23 October 2023 "At Any Time" for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road between its junctions with The Town, Enfield and Church Lane EN1.

HASELBURY ROAD AND PARK LANE N18 - 4085

Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential UKPN works

Operational Dates:

23 October 2023 "At Any Time" for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend Parking on both sides of these roads:

Park Lane from the junction with Haselbury Road for a distance of 30m east (outside No.100); and

Haselbury Road. from the junction with Cheddington Road for a distance of 80m north (outside No.180).

FOUNTAINS CRESCENT N14 - 4086

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

23 October 2023 "At Any Time" for 12 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to close this road between its junction with Lanercost Gardens and No. 50 Fountains Crescent. While the Road is closed local diversions will be in operation.

WADES HILL AND BARBER CLOSE N21 - 4087

Reason for 14(1) Order – Gas works

Operational Dates:

23 October 2023 "At Any Time" for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order will be to suspend parking on these roads:

Wades Hill, the east side, between Nos. 14 and 26; and

Barber Close, the north side from its junction with Wades Hill south-east wards for approximately 40 metres.

GREEN LANES N13 - 4088

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

23 October 2023 "At Any Time" for 5 days or until works are completed.

NOTE: [This notice supersedes the notice of the same title published on 11 October which contained typographical errors which have now been corrected.]

The general effect of the Order will be to:

• Suspend parking on this road between Nos.210 and 182;
• close the southbound cycle lane between Nos 210 and 182;
• close the northbound cycle lane between Nos 255 and 285.
• While the cycle lanes are closed cyclists will be required to dismount and walk or join the main carriageway to cycle in.

FOOTPATH No. 72 BETWEEN CONNAUGHT AVENUE AND CARNARVON AVENUE EN1 - 4089

The general effect of the Order will be to close Footpath No. 72 between Connaught Avenue and Carnarvon Avenue EN1 While the footpath is closed local diversions will be in operation.

Reason for 14(1) Order – Thames Water works

Operational Dates:

23 October 2023 "At Any Time" for 14 days or until works are completed.

The General effect of the Order will be to close the footway on this road outside No. 24, and to suspend parking on both sides of the road between Nos. 23 and 35.

Operational Dates:

16 October 2023 "At Any Time" for a further 2 days or until works are completed.

The General effect of the Order will be to close this road at its junction with Chimes Avenue. While this road is closed local diversions will be in operation.
