MARY NEUNER ROAD N22/CLARENDON ROAD N8 - PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO PARKING

The Haringey (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. 30) Order 2023

The Haringey (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No.30) Order 2023 T09

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 10th October 2023 has made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the order:

a) To exclude all residential properties of Clarendon N8 Development located at former National Grid Clarendon Road Gas Works; Unit 1-5 of the Olympia Trading Estate; and No.57-89 Western Road, from the list of properties within the Wood Green Outer Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), that are eligible for the issue of parking permits for use within the CPZ, on the grounds that is a car free development.

b) To introduce Loading only bays Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm max stay 2hrs no return 2hrs on the following lengths of Mary Neuner Road N22:

i) west side layby outside No.1 Alington House, a length of 27.2 metres.

ii) west side layby outside No.7 Avalon Mansions & No.5 Braeburn Mansions, a length of 19.9 metres.

iii) east side layby outside No.6 Cutler House & No.8 Elan House, a length of 19.9 metres.

c) To introduce bus stops on the following lengths of Mary Neuner Road N22:

i) east side opposite No.1 Alington House, a length of 13 metres.

ii) west side outside No.5 Braeburn Mansions, a length of 14.3 metres.

d) To introduce a Pay to Park bay Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm max stay 2hrs no return 2hrs on Mary Neuner Road N22, east side layby outside No.4 Beeley House, a length of 20 metres.

e) To introduce a Car club bay on the following lengths of Mary Neuner Road N22:

i) west side layby outside No.3 Blenheim Mansions, a length of 7.9 metres.

ii) east side layby outside No.6 Cutler House, a length of 10 metres.

iii) east side layby outside No.10 Stirling House, a length of 9.7 metres.

f) To introduce a Disabled parking bay on the following lengths of Mary Neuner Road N22:

i) west side layby outside No.3 Blenheim Mansions, a length of 8.3 metres.

ii) east side layby outside No.8 Elan House, a length of 7.9 metres.

iii) west side layby outside No.9 Silvana Mansions, a length of 9.7 metres.

g) To introduce double yellow lines to prevent waiting at all times on both sides of Mary Neuner Road N22 from the existing double yellow lines/ double kerb blips outside No.60 to No.70 Clarendon Road N8 to the existing double yellow lines outside No.83 to No.89 Western Road N22 except in signed bays.

Date of operation: The Orders will come into operation on 19th October 2023.

Application to the high court: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
