Bentley Road North, Walsall - - Temporary Road Restrictions

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding in that length of carriageway specified in schedule 1 OTHER THAN in the direction specified in Schedule 2. SCHEDULE 1 SCHEDULE 2 Bentley Road North from its junction with B4464 Northerly Wolverhampton Road West to its junction with Ridgeway Court Access to adjacent properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained wherever it is safe and possible to do so. A signed diversion route will be in operation for affected traffic using B4464 Wolverhampton Road West, A462 Shepwell Green, A462 Bilston Lane, A462 Owen Road, A462 Midland Road, The Green, Bentley Road South and Bentley Road North. This Order will come into operation on Tuesday 31 October 2023 and will remain in force for a period of eighteen months or until the work is completed, which is earlier. The Traffic Regulation Order is appropriate to ensure that a contractor working on behalf of Severn Trent Water can undertake work to install a new connection in a manner that enhances the safety of both workforce and travelling public whilst ensuring that disruption to the traffic sensitive road network is minimised. Work is expected to take place from 0800 (8.00 am) on Tuesday 31 October 2023 to 1800 (6.00 pm) on Thursday 2 November 2023.
