What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(A308 ALBERT ROAD (PART), WINDSOR)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2023
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle to proceed along that part
of A308 Albert Road, Windsor from its junction
with The Long Walk eastward for a distance of
90 metres.
The diversion will be via A308 Albert Road, A308 Straight Road, A328 Priest Hill, A328 St Judes
Road, A30 London Road, A329 Blacknest Gate,
A329 London Road, A330 Winkfield Road, A332
Windsor Road, A332 Peanut Roundabout, A332
Sheet Street Road and A308 Kings Road.
The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works, namely essential sewer cover replacement works and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The Order will be in operation between the hours of 21.00 - 23.59 hours on Thursday 26th October 2023. The prohibition will be in operation when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
