What is happening?
Somerset Council Parish of Bridgwater Temporary Closure of Avalon Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Avalon Road - from 25 metres north of the junction with Blackdown Road, northwards for a total distance of 24 metres. This Order will enable Milestone Infrastructure to carry out patching works. The Order becomes effective on 17th October 2023 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 24th October 2023 and last until 26th October 2023 between the hours of 08:00 -17:00 for a total of 3 days.
