Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 17th October 2023 made the following temporary traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Traffic Regulation Order 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (COLTSFOOT PLACE, CONNIBURROW) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1862)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Coltsfoot Place, Conniburrow – Outside number 14 Coltsfoot Place.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Conniburrow Boulevard, Cranesbill Place, Cleavers Avenue (and vice versa).
The closures are necessary to allow Energetics to carry out installation of high voltage cabling and excavation works.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway.
The closures will come into effect on 23rd October 2023 and will remain in effect until 27th October 2023 (24 Hours) or when the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
Traffic Regulation Order 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CASTLETHORPE ROAD, HANSLOPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1857)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Castlethorpe Road, Hanslope – From Cookoo Mill Rise – Malt Mill Farm
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Gold Street, Park Road, Wolverton Road, North Street and Hanslope Road (and vice versa).
The closures are necessary to allow Mida Civils to carryout remedial works to Hayfield Homes.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway.
The closures will come into effect on 23rd October 2023 and will remain in effect until 24th October 2023 (24 Hours) or when the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
Traffic Regulation Order 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THIRD AVENUE (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1855)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Third Avenue, Bletchley – Outside Bitzer UK.
The above closure will come into effect at 10:00pm 24th October 2023 and is scheduled to be reopened at 6:00am on 28th October 2023 (Between 10:00pm and 6:00am each night).
Whilst the above length of road is closed there will be no alternative route, Access will be maintained.
The closures are necessary to allow Three to Install new telecoms pole and cab.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway.
The closures will come into effect on 24th October 2023 and will remain in effect until 28th October 2023 (24 Hours) or when the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
Traffic Regulation Order 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 03, HANSLOPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1851)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Footpath:
Footpath 03, Hanslope – from its junction with Bullington End for approximately 250 meters.
Whilst the closure is in place for footpath 03 Hanslope the alternative route will be clearly signed.
In the interest of public safety and to enable the construction of the Housing Development the footpath will remain closed for a period of 6 months.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway.
The closures will come into effect on 25th October 2023 and will remain in effect until 12th March 2024 (24 Hours) or when the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
Traffic Regulation Order 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY BOL03, THE BOWL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1851)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Redway:
Redway BOL03, The Bowl – From its junction with Redway KL02 Knowlhill for approximately 90 meters.
Whilst the redway is closed the alternative route will be via Redway KL02 Knowlhill, Redway KL05 Knowlhill, Redway KL06 Knowlhill, Redway BOL01 The Bowl (and vice versa)
The closure is required to enable The National Bowl to be used as a staging area for an event being hosted at Bletchley Park on behalf of HM Government 1st and 2nd November 2023. The closure is required to enable contractors to build on site in the week preceding the event and maintenance of a security program on the lead up to and during the event itself.
The closures will come into effect on 22nd October 2023 and will remain in effect until 5th November 2023 (24 Hours) or when the event is complete, whichever is sooner.
Traffic Regulation Order 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, REDWAYS AND FOOTPATHS IN MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1875)
The effect of the above Order will be temporarily close and restrict the following lengths of road, edway and public rights of way, during and after the AI Summit Event at Bletchley Park, and when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs:
The following lengths of road, redway and public rights (in West Bletchley) of way will be closed to pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles from 00:01am on 30 October 2023 until 23:59pm on 02 November 2023:
Sherwood Drive from Turing Gate to the entrance to Bletchley Train Station;
Jemima Way its entire length;
Tiltman Lane its entire length;
Welchman Court its entire length;
Redway BYWT07 from Buckingham Road to the access road leading to Tiltman Lane;
Redway BYWT05 from Sherwood Drive to Wilton Avenue.
Footpath FP46 its entire length;
Footpath FP14 its entire length
The following length of road (in West Bletchley) will be closed to pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles from 00:01am on 31 October 2023 until 23:59pm on 02 November 2023:
Wilton Avenue its entire length
The following lengths of road (in West Bletchley) will be restricted to no waiting/no loading (at any time) from 00:01am on 27 October 2023 until 23:59pm on 02 November 2023:
Sherwood Drive its entire length;
Tiltman Lane its entire length;
Welchman Court its entire length;
Jemima Way its entire length;
The following length of road (in West Bletchley) will be restricted to no waiting/no loading (at any time) from 00:01am on 30 October 2023 until 23:59pm on 02 November 2023:
Wilton Avenue its entire length
The following lengths of road may also be closed or restricted in the event of a major incident/emergency during the event:
Church Green Road, West Bletchley – Its entire length;
Downing Street, West Bletchley – Its entire length;
Buckingham Road, West Bletchley – From Sherwood Drive to Church Green Road;
Rickley Lane, West Bletchley – Its entire length.
Controlled vehicular and pedestrian access and egress to residential properties will be maintained throughout the closure to those premises in Tiltman Lane and Welchman Court.
Controlled vehicular and pedestrian access will also be maintained throughout the closure to and from Bletchley Train Station (along Sherwood Drive).
The temporary Order will come into operation at 00:01am on 27 October 2023 and will remain in effect until 23:59 on 03 November 2023.

Any person committing a breach of any movement restrictions of the Order shall be liable upon prosecution to such fine as prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the below traffic regulation Orders under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
Traffic Regulation Order 7:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY BY04 CENTRAL BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1837)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Redway:
Redway BY04 Central Bletchley – From its junction Brunel Roundabout to its junction with Sherwood Drive.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via the footway on the opposite side of the road adjacent to Buckingham Road (and vice versa).
in order to allow Anglian Water to carry out new water connection works between 1st November 2023 – 3rd November 2023 (24 Hours).
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order for Anglian Water will come into effect on 1st November 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 month and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
Traffic Regulation Order 8:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY BRK01 BROOKLANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1853)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Redway:
Redway BRK01 Brooklands – From its junction with Broughton Grounds Lane to its junction with Laconia Lane.
Whilst the redway is closed the alternative route will be via Redway BRK02 Brooklands on the opposite side of the road
The closures are necessary to enable Places for People to carryout utility connections to new development.
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway.
The closures will come into effect on 1st November 2023 and will remain in effect until 31st April 2024 (24 Hours) or when the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
Traffic Regulation Order 9:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CLEAVERS AVENUE, CONNIBURROW) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2023 (Reference: TTRO-1865)
The effect of the above Order will be to close the following lengths of Road:
Cleavers Avenue, Conniburrow – Outside number 46 Cleavers Avenue.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Coltsfoot Place, Conniburrow Boulevard and Cranesbill place (and vice versa).
to enable Energetics to carry out installation of cabling and excavation works for installation of electric charging stations on 30th October 2023 – 6th November 2023 (24 Hours).
The Council is satisfied that the temporary closure Order is necessary to enable works to be carried out on the highway. The temporary Order will come into effect on 30th October 2023 and remain in effect for a period of 3 month and will take effect at times during the above period only when works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure.
