(THTTC3189 SUMMER LANE, COMBE DOWN)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a
road closure in that length of Summer Lane, Combe Down from outside the property ‘Kingham’ extending
north east for approximately 185 metres to the point outside property ‘Lake Cottage’. USRN: 47900049.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for
defected sewer pipe 40 meters to be repaired & restore service by Wessex Water on the 23rd October 2023
for a maximum period of 5 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position
and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the
works. This is anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily
introduce a road closure in that length of Camerton Hill, Camerton, Bath from a point outside Flat 5, The
Court Rooms, Camerton Hill. USRN: 47916423.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable
Bristol Water to carry out fire hydrant frame and cover replacement on the 8th November 2023 for a maximum
period of 4 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be
effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated
to be for TWO DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a
road closure in that length of Richmond Road, Beacon Hill, Bath from a point outside the property known
as Northfield House extending north to a point outside the property known as York Place. USRN: 47901290.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable
Wales & West Utilities to lay a new gas service to the property known as The Coach House on the 24th October
2023 for a maximum period of 7 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position
and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a
road closure in that length of Shaft Road, Monkton Combe, Bath from a point outside the property known as
Reynella extending north east to a point outside the property known as Headmasters House. USRN: 47902298.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable
Wessex Water to complete cleaning and survey of sewers on the 26th October 2023 for a maximum period
of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected
for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to
be for ONE DAY between 09:00 - 17:00hrs only.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily
introduce a road closure in that length of:
St Saviour’s Road, Larkhall, Bath from its junction with Larkhall Place extending north to its junction with
Linen Walk. USRN: 47901320.
Brooklyn Road, Larkhall, Bath from its junction with St Saviour’s Road extending south west to its junction
with Dafford Street. USRN: 47918133.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable
Openreach safe access to the overhead network for replacement pole works on the 6th November 2023 for
a maximum period of 2 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and
may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.

road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole
of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for ONE DAY.
