Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Epwell, Sibford Road & Street from Shutford
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 16/10/2023
Coming into force: 23/10/2023
This Order is being introduced because of water mains renewals/ disconnection works which are anticipated to take until 1 December to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the Sibford Road from the junction of Thatchers Close to 240m past The Square. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic will be signed locally.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T12579/RMF)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Balscote (Wroxton) Manor Farm Lane
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 23/10/2023
Coming into force: 30/10/2023
This Order is being introduced because of Installation of fibre optic ducting works which are anticipated to take 10 days to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Manor Farm Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Chapel Lane, Shutford Road and Vice Versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T12158)

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(CROPREDY PARISH) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that on 16th October 2023 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 23 October introduces a 20mph speed limit throughout Cropredy, replacing the previous 30mph speed limit in its entirety – leading outwards to the following points:
1. Claydon Road – a point 65 metres north of its junction with Oxhey Hill,
2. Oxhey Hill – a point 15 metres west of its junction with Claydon Road,
3. Station Road – a point 95 metres southwest of the junction with School Lane, 4. Williamscot Road – a point 390 metres east of its junction with Vicarage Gardens. The Oxfordshire County Council (Cropredy Parish) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2022 is revoked/ replaced.

3. (BANBURY) (BUS LANES AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) ORDER 20**
NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers in support of the ‘Access to Banbury Train Station’ project (i.e. Tramway Road improvements). Specifically, the proposals comprise of the following measures:
A. New 20mph Speed Limit to be introduced on the following sections of road:
1. Station Approach Road (North) - from a point 90 metres southeast of its junction with Bridge Street, southwards to its roundabout junction with the Station Approach Road (South)/ Tramway Road, including the circulatory carriageway of the roundabout.
2. Station Approach Road (South) - from its roundabout junction with the Station Approach Road (North)/Tramway Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 55 metres.
3. Tramway Road – from its roundabout junction with the Station Approach Road (South)/ Tramway Road, southwards to a point 200 metres north of its junction with Hightown Road/ Swan Close Road.
B. New Bus Lanes: will be introduced on the Station Approach Road (North) as follows:
1. Southbound carriageway – from a point 115 metres southeast of its junction with Bridge Street, southwards for a distance of 110 metres,
2. Northbound carriageway – from its roundabout junction with the Station Approach Road (South)/Tramway Road, north-eastwards for a distance of 15 metres.
Exemptions to the bus gate restrictions will apply to: Emergency Vehicles (including Police vehicles on patrol) Taxi & private hire vehicles, and vehicles associated with Network Rails ‘Rapid Response’ unit.
C. No Waiting at Any Time’ (Double Yellow Lines) will also be introduced and/or formalised as follows:
1. Station Approach Road (North) – both sides:
a. from its junction with Bridge Street, southwards for a distance of 205 metres,
b. from its roundabout junction with the Station Approach Road (South)/Tramway Road, northwards for a distance of 12 metres.
2. Station Approach Road (South) – both sides: from its roundabout junction with the Station Approach Road (North)/Tramway Road, south-eastwards for a distance of 55 metres,
3. Tramway Road – both sides: both sides: from its roundabout junction with the Station Approach Road (North)/Tramway Road, south-westwards for a distance of 55 metres.
The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads – Cherwell) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021 updating Map Tiles AR55 & AS55, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Banbury Area) (Speed Limits – No.3) Order 2022 will be further amended/revoked/replaced as necessary.

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the address below (or via the web address above) no later than the end of 17 November 2023. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
