ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(Swinnow Road, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to install new connection, Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: NO person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Swinnow Road, Swinnow, Leeds in the Pudsey Ward between its junctions with Stanningley Road and Sunnydale Drive. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Stanningley Road, Swinnow Lane and vice-versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 29 October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Park Mount, Kirkstall, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Parking restriction required for safe working area) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Park Mount, Kirkstall, Leeds in the Kirkstall Ward between its junctions with Morris Lane and Vicarage Terrace. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: N/A. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 6th November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Richardshaw Lane, Pudsey, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Power Grid works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Richardshaw Lane, Pudsey, Leeds in the Bramley & Stanningley Ward, Calverley & Farsley Ward, Pudsey Ward between its junctions with King Lane and Town Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Bradford Road, Stanningley Bypass. Richardshaw Lane and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 28th October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Scotchman Lane, Morley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road Closure required for tarmac reinstatement works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Scotchman Lane, Morley, Leeds in the Morley South Ward at the side of halfway house for 5 meters. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Howley Park Road, Britannia Road and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Saturday 28th October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Melville Road, Woodhouse, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for carriageway re-surfacing Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Melville Road, Woodhouse, Leeds in the Headingley & Hyde Park Ward, Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Rampart Road and Meanwood Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Rampart Road, Holborn Approach, Woodhouse Street, Cambridge Road, Meanwood Road. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Moday 13th November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Oak Tree Grove, Gipton, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to replace Gas main, Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Oak Tree Grove, Gipton, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with Oak Tree Mount and North Farm Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: North Farm Road, Oak Tree Crescent, Oak Tree Mount and vice-versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 08:00 hours on Thursday 2nd November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (holding of Morley Cricket Club – Bonfire Night), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order, the effect of which will be as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or park in the following locations at any time when coning is in place: 1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the undermentioned highway(s) a road closure Leeds City Council intends in not less than seven days to make an Order the effect of which will that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to proceed on the length of road defined on the days and between the times shown in Schedule 1, nor wait or load at any time on any length of road defined in Schedule 2 hereto:-

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 16a as amended by The Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994 Rothwell Bonfire & Fireworks 2023 Saturday 04 November 2023 Temporary Road Closures Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, has today made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as inserted by Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994, prohibiting and restricting the use of certain roads by vehicles to facilitate the safe operation of the Switch On Event for the Christmas Lights in Rothwell and with any associated events. The Order will come into effect on the date specified and in accordance with the details in the Schedule hereto. Where necessary, local diversions will be in operation, signed as appropriate. The Order will not at any time prevent access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which the Order relates, or to any premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, any such road.
Roads to be closed 15:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs
1. Commercial Street – between West Parade and Butcher Lane
2. Marsh Street car park access road – between Marsh Lane and the rear of 47 Commercial Street

(Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restriction) (No.25) Order 2014 Amendment No.1 Order 2023, (Traffic Regulation) (Movement Order) (No.16) Order 2023 and (Speed Limit) (No.23) Order 2023
Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Orders under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:-
1. No waiting at any time of parts of: Otley Road, Guiseley.
2. On Street Time Limited Parking between 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday (inclusive), 1 hour no return within 1 hour: Otley Road, Guiseley, the north-east side – From a point 138 metres south-east of its junction with the projected south-eastern kerb line of Springfield Road in a south-easterly direction to a point 63 metres north west of its junction with Leeds Road; Otley Road, Guiseley the north-east side – From a point 38 metres south-east of its junction with the projected south-eastern kerb line of Springfield Road in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 19 metres; Otley Road, Guiseley, the north-east side – From a point 11 metres south-east of its junction with the projected southeastern kerb line of Oxford Road in a south easterly direction for a distance of 35 metres; Otley Road, Guiseley, the north-east side – From a point 6 metres north-west of its junction with the projected north-western kerb line of Springfield Road in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 20 metres; Otley Road, Guiseley, the north-east side – From a point 81 metres north-west of its junction with the projected north-western kerb line of Oxford Road for a distance of 72 metres in a north-westerly direction; Otley Road, Guiseley, the north-east side – From a point 167 metres north-west of its junction with the projected north-western kerb line of Oxford Road for a distance of 45.5 metres in a north-westerly direction; Otley Road, Guiseley, the south-west side – From a point 33 metres south east of its junction with the projected south-eastern kerb line of Hallam Street to a point 282 metres north west of its junction with the projected north-western kerb line of Park Road; Otley Road, Guiseley, the south-west side – From a point 23 metres south east of its junction with the projected south-eastern kerb line of Hallam Street in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 6.5 metres.
3. Prohibition of Right turns: Otley Road, Guiseley, from Otley Road western access Road to Morrison’s Car Park; Otley Road, Guiseley, from Otley Road eastern access Road to Morrison’s Car Park; Western Access Road to Morrison’s Car Park, Guiseley, from western access Road to Morrison’s Car Park Otley Road.
4. One Way Street: Western Access Road to Morrison’s Car Park, Guiseley, from its junction with Otley Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of point 10 metres, from south to north.
5. 20 mph Speed Limit: Leeds Road, From its junction with Otley Road in a south easterly direction to a point 30 metres southeast of its junction with the projected southeastern kerb line of The Green; Otley Road, From its junction with Leeds Road in a north westerly direction to a point 146 metres northwest of its junction with the projected north western kerbline of Renton Avenue; Park Road, From its junction with Otley Road/Leeds Road in a south westerly direction for a distance of 42 metres; Victoria Road, entire length.
6. The revocation of existing items as identified in the draft Order Schedules.
