HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN WILLOWMEAD, HERTFORD) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Willowmead, Hertford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.55 Willowmead south eastwards and south westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN CHURCH ROAD, LITTLE BERKHAMSTED/C54 (UNNAMED ROAD), EPPING GREEN) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Road, Little Berkhamsted/ C54 (unnamed road), Epping Green from its junction with Robins Nest Hill south eastwards to its junction with White Stubbs Lane, a distance of approximately 1505m (“the length of Roads”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Robins Nest Hill, B158 (Lower Luton Road/ Horns Mill Road), Brickendon Lane, Pembridge Lane and White Stubbs Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Roads whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HILLSIDE, WARE) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hillside, Ware from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.15 Hillside south eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Temple Lane, Tonwell from its junction with Chappell Court northwards, north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of The Orchard, Tonwell from its junction with Temple Lane south westwards for its entire length.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF GINNS ROAD, STOCKING PELHAM) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ginns Road, Stocking Pelham from a point in line with the southern boundary of ‘Applecot’ north eastwards for a distance of approximately 97m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Ginns Road, The Wash, The Street, Worsted Lane, B1368 (unnamed road), B1038 (unnamed road/Conduit Lane/Pump Hill), C15 (unnamed road) and Ginns Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PARK LANE, WALTHAM CROSS) ORDER NO.2 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Park Lane, Waltham Cross from its junction with Sturlas Way south westwards to its junction with Curtis Close, a distance of approximately 139m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Sturlas Way, A121 Monarchs Way, A1010 (Monarchs Way/High Street), Lodge Crescent, Cameron Drive, Hurst Drive, Raglan Avenue and Park Lane.
The Order is needed because water main works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 6 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sacombe Pound, Sacombe from its junction with Sacombe Green Road southwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 300m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Sacombe Pound, Munden Road, C16 Great Munden, Mentley Lane, C14 (unnamed road), Moor Green Road, C14 (unnamed road), B1037 (White Hill/High Street), High Street, Benington Road, Walkern Road, Church Green, Town Lane, Whempstead Road, A602 Tonwell Bypass and Sacombe Pound.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 10 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Rowney Lane, Dane End from its junction with Potters Green south westwards to its junction with Sacombe Public Byway Open to All Traffic No.001, a distance of approximately 973m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Whitehill, Munden Road, Sacombe Pound, Sacombe Green Road and Rowney Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 3 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHURCH HILL, HERTFORD HEATH DURING THE ‘HERTFORD HEATH FIREWORKS NIGHT’) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Church Hill, Hertford Heath from its junction with Vicarage Causeway south westwards to its junction with Mount Pleasant, a distance of approximately 67m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Vicagae Causeway, B1197 London Road and Church Hill.
The Order is needed to ensure public safety and prevent accidents for the duration of ‘Hertford Heath Fireworks Night’.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 4 November 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WEST ROAD, SAWBRIDGEWORTH) ORDER NO.2 2023
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of West Road, Sawbridgeworth from its junction with Rochester Avenue north westwards for a distance of approximately 65m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via West Road, A1184 (London Road/Bonks Hill/ Harlow Road), High Wych Road, High Wych Lane, Beanfield Road and West Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 23 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B156 Halfhide Lane, Cheshunt from its junction with the A10 Great Cambridge Road/A1170 Great Cambridge Road roundabout south eastwards to its junction with Hollyfields, a distance of approximately 120m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A1170 Great Cambridge Road, B176 High Road and B156 Halfhide Lane.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 21 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Dane Ocoys Road, Bishops Stortford from its junction with Bishops Stortford Public Footpath No.003 north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Whitehall Road, a distance of approximately 322m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Dane Ocoys Road, Cricketfield Lane, Barrells Down Road and Whitehall Road.
The Order is needed because electrical service works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Church End, 3U154 (unnamed road), Clapgate, Albury Road, Standon Road, A120 Standon Road, Albury End, Parsonage Lane and Church End.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing hydrant is proposed to be executed near the Road.

An alternative route will be via B156 (Goffs Lane/Churchgate Road), Andrews Lane and Rosedale Way.
The Order is needed because water service installation works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Warren Lane, Cottered from its junction with B1037 (unnamed road) south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 527m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because tree cutting and utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 20 October 2023 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
