Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the County of Kent, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road.
The effect of the Order is to authorise the weekend closure of the road connecting the clockwise carriageways of the M25 at Junction 5 (M26/A21).
This measure is in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake waterproofing, resurfacing and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for approximately 3 weekends starting on or after Saturday 28th October 2023. The weekend closures will take place between 22:00 on Saturdays and 05:30 on Mondays (maximum periods). The additional weekends will be 11th to 13th November 2023 and 18th to 20th November 2023. Please consult National Highways website for further details.
The Order will come into force on 26th October 2023 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete.
Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted using the A21 to Morleys Roundabout and return.
The temporary closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
