Boothferry Road - Prohibition Of Traffic For Works
What is happening?

SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC
BOOTHFERRY ROAD ROUNDABOUT, HESSLE
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the North Arm of Boothferry Road Roundabout commencing 6 November 2023 to replace a VRS barrier on the approach from Beverley Road, Anlaby.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 06.00 hours on 7 November 2023. Hours of work will be between 20.00 hours and 06.00 hours.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Beverley Road, Springfield Way, Anlaby, Hull Road, Anlaby Common, Anlaby Road (B1231), Boothferry Road (A1105) and vice versa.
The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure.
The road will be closed to all traffic but access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians.
