What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C436 HEATH ROAD, WOOLPIT

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C436 Heath Road, Woolpit from 75 metres north west of the junction with Steeles Road for 90 metres north westbound to facilitate tree cutting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Street, The Street, Green Road, The Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 14/10/2023 from 11am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U7001 SCHOOL ROAD, MOULTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U7001 School Road, Moulton from 50 metres north of the junction with the B1085 for 100 metres northbound to facilitate the installation of a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be School Road, Ihe B1506, the B1085 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/10/2023 - 27/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C449 BILDESTON ROAD, COMBS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C449 Bildeston Road, Combs from no. 1 for 25 metres north eastbound and 25 metres south westbound to facilitate a new electrical connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1078, the B1113, the A1308, Needham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/10/2023 - 29/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3612 LOWER STREET, UFFORD

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3612 Lower Street, Ufford from the junction with Ufford Place for 30 metres southbound to facilitate stoptap replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Avenue, the B1438, the A1152 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/10/2023 - 27/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1079 GRUNDISBURGH ROAD, BURGH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1079 Grundisburgh Road, Burgh from Fynn Haugh for 30 metres southbound to facilitate stop tap replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1079, the A12, the B1078 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/10/2023 – 26/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C341 HOLLESLEY ROAD, ALDERTON

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C341 Hollesley Road, Alderton from the junction with Watson Way for 40 metres northbound to facilitate a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1083 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 25/10/2023 - 27/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
