Notice of Proposal
(OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES (CONSOLIDATED)
ORDER 2015) (VARIATION NUMBER 11) ORDER 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes
to make an Order under Sections 32 and 35 and Parts 1 to III of
Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended,
(“the 1984 Act”) and all other enabling powers and in accordance
with its duty under Section 122 of the 1984 Act.
1. The effect of the proposed Order will be to:
i) Vary the Off-Street Parking Places (Consolidated) Order 2015
to permanently remove reference to Oak Street Car Park, Crewe.
Copies of the proposed Variation Order 2023, a copy of the Original
Consolidated Order 2015, and a statement of reasons can be viewed
at Parking reviews and public consultations (cheshireeast.gov.uk)
or may be viewed by prior appointment at Crewe Library Crewe

Any objection or other representation relating to the proposed Order
should be made in writing; all objections must specify the grounds
on which they are made. Objections and other representations
should be sent, marked for the attention of the Parking Services
Manager, Cheshire East Council, Delamere House, Delamere Street,
Crewe, Cheshire CW1 2LL or by email to consultationsparking@
cheshireeast.gov.uk entitled “Variation 11” by no later than
1st November 2023.
