What is happening?

Essex County Council

(Landermere Road, Thorpe-le-Soken) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Landermere Road, Thorpe-le-Soken in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Abbey Street to its junction with Walton Road a distance of approximately 1260m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2023 for 9 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2352676 - Essex County Council).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while footway and carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Walton Road, Dale Hill, Walton Road, The Street, Walton Road, Elm Tree Avenue, Frinton Road, Thorpe Road, Frinton Road, Abbey Street and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 5th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rush Green Road, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rush Green Road, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 155m east of its junction with Jaywick Lane for a distance of approximately 70m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd October 2023 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MT00110193711 - Affinity Water).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while interim to permanent repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Rush Green Road, Jaywick Lane, St Johns Road, Cloes Lane and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 5th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
