Tonbridge and Malling, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA

B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Wrotham.​ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2023

To allow duct installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2016 Seven Mile Lane, Wrotham, on or after 24th October 2023, for up to 8 days, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Teston Road and A20 London Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via A20 London Road, A228 Ashton Way, A228 Malling Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane and vice versa.

 

Lower Warren Road, Aylesford ME20 7EF  (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER NOVEMBER 2023

To allow electrical connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Lower Warren Road, Aylesford, on or after 6th November 2023 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Rochester Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for traffic travelling west is via Lower Warren Road, Warren Road, Maidstone Road, A229 Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge Chatham, A229 Bluebell Hill and Kits Coty Slip Southbound Off Aylesford.

The alternative route for traffic travelling east is via Rochester Road, Chatham Road, Kits Coty Slip Northbound on Aylesford, A229 Bluebell Hill, Bluebell Hill Slip North Off Chatham, Lord Lees Roundabout Chatham, Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge Chatham, Taddington Wood Roundabout Chatham, Bluebell Hill Slip Link Bridge Chatham, Maidstone Road, Mill Lane, Warren Road and Lower Warren Road.

 

Offham Road, West Malling ME19 6LX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2023

To allow electrical connection and water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Offham Road, West Malling, on or after 23rd October 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with West Street, adjacent to number 25, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Norman Road, Alma Road, Fartherwell Avenue, Offham Road and vice versa.

 

Pilgrims Way, Wrotham TN15 7EA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2023

To allow connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Wrotham, on or after 23rd October 2023 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of The Willows, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Battlefields Road, Kemsing Road, High Street, Old London Road and vice versa.

 

Tonbridge Road & Three Elm Lane, East Peckham TN11 0LD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2023

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Tonbridge Road & Three Elm Lane, East Peckham, on or after 24th October 2023 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The roads will be closed from the junction with Pierce Mill Lane to outside number 370, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Addlestead Road, Snoll Hatch Road, Old Road, Hale Street, Maidstone Road, A228 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Maidstone Road, A26 High Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, Three Elm Lane & vice versa.

 

Water Lane, Ospringe.​ ME13 8TU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER OCTOBER 2023

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Water Lane, Ospringe, on or after 27th October 2023, for up to one day, between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Queen Court Farm, to the extnt indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route is via Abbotts Hill, Coxett Hill, Faversham Road, A2 London Road, Ospringe Street and vice versa.
