What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

B269 Spout Lane, Crockham Hill, TN8 6RP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B269 Spout Lane, Crockham Hill, on or after 8th November 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Ranscombe.

The alternative route is via B2026 Main Road/Station Road, B2027 Four Elms Road, B269 Pootings Road/Spout Lane and vice versa.

 

B2027 Four Elms Road, Edenbridge. TN8 6HG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of resurfacing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2027 Four Elms Road, Edenbridge, from 20.00hrs on 10th November 2023, with estimated completion by 06.00hrs on 13th November 2023 or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Bray Road to 50m past Fircroft Road.

The alternative route is via B2027 Four Elms Road, B2026 Station Road, Fircroft Way and vice versa. The other route will be via B2027 Four Elms Road, Swan Lane and B2026 Station Road.

 

Bowers Road, Shoreham.​ TN14 7SS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bowers Road, Shoreham, on or after 26th October 2023 for up to 2 days between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between number 2 and Mildmay Place.

There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.

 

Golding Road, Sevenoaks.​ TN13 3NB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Golding Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 26th October 2023 until 12th November 2023, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is via St James Road, A225 St Johns Hill, Camden Road and vice versa.

 

Goodley Stock Road, Westerham.​ TN16 1SL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Goodley Stock Road, Westerham, on or after 23rd October 2023 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to Squerryes Farm Cottages.

The alternative route is via Goodley Stock Road, A25 High Street/Market Square/Vicarage Hill/Quebec Square, B2026 Hosey Hill/Hosey Common Road, B269 Kent Hatch Road and vice versa.

 

Haven Hill, Hodsoll Street.​ TN15 7LP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Haven Hill, Hodsoll Street, on or after 26th October 2023 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed opposite the junction with Fairseat Lane.

The alternative route is via Haven Hill, Pease Hill, South Ash Road, Hatham Green Lane, Plaxdale Green Road, Stansted Hill, Fairseat Lane and vice versa.

 

Knatts Lane, Knatts Valley. TN15 6YA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Knatts Lane, Knatts Valley, on or after 6th November 2023 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Bungalow.

The alternative route is via Knatts Lane, School Lane, A20 London Road, Botsom Lane, Knatts Valley Road and vice versa.

 

New Barn Road, Swanley. BR8 7PW  (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of tree works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of New Barn Road, Swanley, on or after 8th November 2023 for up to 3 days between 09.30hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Swanley Park Car Park and Pritchard Court.

The alternative route is via New Barn Road, College Road, B258 Main Road and vice versa.

 

Pilgrims Way East, Otford.​ TN14 5RJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of SGN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way East, Otford, on or after 23rd October 2023 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bluebells.

The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Childsbridge Lane, Church Street, A25 High Street/Seal Road, A225 Otford Road/Sevenoaks Road/Station Road and vice versa.

 

Shelleys Lane, Knockholt TN14 7LT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Shelleys Lane, Knockholt, on or after 11th November 2023 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is via Main Road, Burlings Lane and vice versa.

 

Shoreham Lane, Riverhead.​ TN13 3DU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

Because of footway preservation treatment works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shoreham Lane, Riverhead, on or after 23rd October 2023 for up to 3 days between 07.00hrs and 17.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between A25 Maidstone Road and Church Field.

The alternative route is via A25 Maidstone Road, A224 London Road/Amherst Hill, Shoreham Lane and vice versa.

 

St Ediths Road, Kemsing.​ TN15 6PT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2023

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of St Ediths Road, Kemsing, on or after 23rd October 2023 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of St Ediths Court and West End. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic, from the junction with High Street is via High Street, Heaverham Road, Watery Lane, Honey Pot Lane, Noahs Ark and vice versa.

The alternative route for any through traffic, from the junction with Noahs Ark is via Noahs Ark, Church Street, Church Road, Childsbridge Lane, West End and vice versa.
