(Station Road And Azalea Avenue, Fordham) (20 Mph, Restricted Roads &
50 Mph Speed Limits) Order 202$
Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under all relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act the effect of which will be:-To introduce a 20mph speed limit on the whole length of Azalea Avenue (new estate road off od Station Road). To extend the 30mph Speed Limit (by virtue of street lighting) on Station Road, Fordham by 146 metres (from its junction with Market Street (B1102) in a south westerly direction for a distance of 292 metres). The existing 50mph speed limit on Station Road will
commence at a point 80 metres east of the centre point of the A142 roundabout in a north easterly direction to a point 292 metres southwest of its junction with Market Street. The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of roads concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined online, on the Council’s website, at the following address http://bit.ly/cambridgeshiretro or by email from the email address below. Objections to the above proposals, stating the grounds on which they are made, or any other comments must
be sent in writing to the undersigned or by e-mail to policyandregulation@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 2nd November 2023 quoting reference PR0974. Comments received will be used as part of our
