Fulham Road - Temporary Road Closures For Crane Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES FULHAM ROAD
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.
Fulham Road to be closed at the junction of Evelyn Gardens to the junction of Cranley Gardens.
To be closed from 08.00hrs until 18.00hrs on Sunday 22nd October 23, with backup date of Sunday 29th October 2023.
Diverted through traffic may use Fulham Road, Edith Grove, King’s Road, Sydney Street, Fulham Road. Local through traffic diversion to use Fulham Road, Elm Park Gardens or Evelyn Gardens, Fulham Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
