TRWY HYN bod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd ar gyfer Pontycymer wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddim llai na saith niwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn a fydd yn cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae angen y Gorchymyn oherwydd lled annigonol y ffordd i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod gwaith cynnal a chadw ac er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 08/11/2023 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod hyd at 18 mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith, pa un bynnag sydd gyntaf. Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith arfaethedig yn cael ei wneud rhwng 09:00 a 10:00 ar 08/11/2023. 

Atodlen-Ni chaiff neb achosi i unrhyw gerbyd fynd ar hyd Richard Street, Pontycymer, CF32 8DA wrth y gyffordd ag Oxford Street. Effeithir ar 20 metr o ffordd o gyffordd Oxford Street i gyffordd Meadow Street. 

Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau yw ar hyd Richard Street, Meadow Street, Alexandra Road, Oxford Street ac i’r gwrthwyneb.Darperir mynediad trwy’r cyfyngiad i Wasanaeth yr Heddlu, y Gwasanaeth Tân a’r Gwasanaeth Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr i bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad yn cael ei gynnal ar hyd llwybrau diffiniedig trwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd wedi’i chau.

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (RICHARD STREET, PONTYCYMMER) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2023 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Pontycymmer in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order which will temporarily introduce the restriction set out in the schedule below. 

The Order is necessary due to insufficient width of road to maintain vehicular access during maintenance works and is in the interest of public safety. 

The Order will come into force on the 08/11/2023 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 09:00 and 10:00 on the 08/11/2023.

Schedule- No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Richard Street, Pontycymmer, CF32 8DA at junction with Oxford Street. There is 20 meters of road affected from junction of Oxford Street to junction of Medow Street.

The alternative route for vehicles is via Richard street, Meadow street, Alexandra road, Oxford street and vice versa. Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. 

Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure.
