HYSBYSIR TRWY HYN fod y Cyngor, yn rhinwedd ei waith fel Awdurdod Priffordd i Ben-y-Bont ar Ogwr, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (diwygiwyd) wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno, dros dro, y cyfyngiad a nodir yn yr atodlen isod. Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol oherwydd lled annigonol y gerbytffordd i gynnal mynediad i gerbydau yn ystod gwaith ailwynebu’r gerbytffordd ac mae’n digwydd er budd diogelwch y cyhoedd. Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 23/10/2023 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am uchafswm o 18 mis neu hyd yr amser pan fydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag sy’n digwydd gyntaf.
Rhagwelir y bydd y gwaith a gynllunir yn digwydd rhwng yr oriau 19:00 a 07:00 o 23/10/2023 hyd 25/10/2023. Atodlen-Ni fydd unrhyw berson yn achosi i unrhyw gerbyd symud ar hyd Stryd yr Angel, Pen-y-Bont ar Ogwr o’i chyffordd â Ffordd Osgoi Fewnol A473 at ei chyffordd gyda The Rhiw, Pen-y-Bont ar Ogwr, sef pellter o oddeutu 170 metr. Yn lle hynny, y daith arall i gerbydau yw drwy stryd y parc Pen-y-Bont ar Ogwr, Glan-y-Parc, Stryd yr Angel yn y naill gyfeiriad a’r llall. Darperir mynediad yn ystod y cyfyngiad i Wasanaethau Heddlu, Tân ac Ambiwlans sy’n ymateb i argyfyngau. Bydd y mynediad i gerddwyr i bob eiddo o fewn y cyfyngiad yn parhau ar hyd y llwybrau diffiniedig drwy gydol cyfnod y cau. Dyddiedig: 17/10/2023

BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL 
(ANGEL STREET, BRIDGEND) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Bridgend in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below. The Order is necessary due to insufficient width of carriageway to maintain vehicular access during carriageway resurfacing works and is in the interest of public safety. The Order will come into force on the 23/10/2023 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 from the 23/10/2023 to 25/10/2023. Schedule-No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Angel Street, Bridgend from its junction with A473 Inner By Pass to its junction with The Rhiw, Bridgend a distance of approximately 170 metres. The alternative route for vehicles is via park street Bridgend, Glan-y-Parc, Angel Street and vice versa. Access will be provided through the restriction for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services responding to emergencies. Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of the closure. Dated: 17/10/2023
