Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th October 2023 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Bude-Stratton. This prohibition is necessary for repair works of canal bank and reinstatement of footpaths and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th October 2023 to 18th March 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included
Public right of ways affected - Footpath 56 between grid references SS 20732:06137 and SS 20754:06044 and Footpath 61 between grid references SS 20758:06113 and SS 20758:06044, in the Parish of Bude-Stratton.

This prohibition is necessary for manhole level installation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th October 2023, for one day. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 7th August 2023 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of footway being - Urban Footway F7192, Bude-Stratton between the junction of The Wharf and grid reference SS 20818:06424. The Order which commenced on the 23rd August 2023 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 22nd December 2023. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out wall construction works. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
