The East Sussex (U5123 Mount Street, Lewes) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
To allow Hailsham Roadways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Mount Street – from the junction with B2193 Priory Street for its entire length.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 1 November 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 1 and 2 November 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U9035 Hastings Crescent, Hailsham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Hastings Crescent – from no.11 Arrow Drive to no.15 Hastings Crescent.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U9035 Hastings Crescent, Arrow Drive and vice versa. The Order commences 30 October 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 30 October and 2 November 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
High Street – from the junction with A26 Beacon Road to the junction with U7809 Nevill Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via B2100 The Broadway, Crowborough Hill – B2157 Green Lane, Eridge Road – A26 Eridge Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 27 October 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs on 27 and 28 October 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.

To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

The Order commences 31 October 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 09:30hrs to 15:30hrs on 31 October 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Order commences 13 October 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 23:59hrs to 05:00hrs between 13 and 16 October 2023 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U5003 Jackies Lane, Newick/A272 Station Road, North Chailey)(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2023
To allow UKPN to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made make an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily impose the following restrictions;
Temporary Road Closure
Jackies Lane – from the junction with A272 Station Road to Cox’s Farm.
Diversion via A272 Station Road, Western Road – U5040 Harmers Hill – U5003 Jackies Lane and vice versa.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 19 and 26 October 2023.
Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit
Station Road – from the junction with C651 Oxbottom Lane to the junction with C652 Lower Station Road.
Restriction is anticipated to be in place between 23 October and 16 November 2023.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 19 October 2023 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated the works will be undertaken as detailed above depending upon the weather conditions.
