Kingswinford - Temporary Road Closure

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (AVONDALE CLOSE, COURTLAND ROAD, HINSFORD CLOSE AND HAM LANE, KINGSWINFORD) ORDER 2023 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council intends to make a temporary Order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing on Avondale Close, Courtland Road, Hinsford Close, and Ham Lane, Kingswinford. The effects of which will be to prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding on · Avondale Close from Stallings Lane to the end of the cul-de-sac · Courtland Road from Stallings Lane to the end of the Cul-de-sac · Hinsford Close from Stallings Lane to the end of the cul-de-sac · Ham Lane from Stallings Lane to outside number 5 Ham Lane at such times and extent when prescribed traffic signs are being displayed. 

The Order will apply at 19:00 hours on Tuesday 31st October 2023. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 03:00 hours on Wednesday 8th November 2023. The Order will remain valid for a maximum duration of 18 months to allow for unexpected events, or until the said works are completed, whichever is earlier.

 There is no diversion route as traffic will be held temporarily and released ones the works have passed Exemptions will be provided for: -

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a civil enforcement officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an  emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restriction imposed by the Order;

(c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works.
