NOTICE OF MAKING
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(FISHERGATE HILL (U4369), PRESTON, PRESTON CITY) (REVOCATION AND ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 11 October 2023 Lancashire County Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke "The County Borough of Preston (Traffic Regulation) (No.1) Order 1967" in full.
2. Introduce one way traffic in Fishergate Hill (U4369), Preston, from its junction with Fishergate Hill (C329) to its junction with Broadgate, in a south westerly direction.
This Order will come into force on the 16 October 2023. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Preston City Council, PO Box 10, Town Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 2RL, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, PO Box 100, Preston PR1 0LD, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx, quoting ref: LSG4/894. 14644/AFR. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
