Wiltshire, Multiple Temporary Traffic Notices
What is happening?
SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) Glasses Lane, Sutton Mandeville; from its junction with A30 to its junction with Rectory Road to enable Openreach to carry out pole test and associated works.
Alternative route via Sutton Lane - Dean Lane - A30 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 06 November 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day.

B) C323 (Part), West Dean; from its property known as Windrush Farm for a distance of approximately 100m in an easterly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out tree cutting and associated works.
Alternative route via C323 (unaffected length) - C335 - C330 - Weston Lane - C289 -C323 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 10 November 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 for 1 day.

C) Church Lane (Part), Bishopstone; from its junction with Junction Mill Lane East and South to Throope Bottom Cottages to outside its property known as Bridge Cottage.
D) Junction Mill Lane East and South to Throope Bottom Cottages (Part), Bishopstone; from its junction with Church Lane to its property known as The Cottage to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works.
Alternative route C via Church Lane (unaffected length) - C12 - Harvest Lane - Faulston Lane - Mill Lane and vice versa.
No alternative route is available for closure D.
This Order will come into operation on 06 November 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 4 days.

E) C325 (Part), Burcombe Without; from its junction with A30 for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction to enable BT to carry out network access and associated works.
Alternative route via C325 (unaffected length) - C63 - A30 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 06 November 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 2 days.

F) C24 (Part), Tisbury; from its junction with Tisbury Row to its junction with The Paddocks to enable Wessex Water to carry out cover and associated works.
Alternative route via C24 (unaffected length) - C25 - C318 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 08 November 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 14:00 for 1 day.

G) Ashley Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Coldharbour Lane for a distance of approximately 200m in a north easterly direction to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out installation of 33kV cables and associated works.
Alternative route via Ashley Road (unaffected length) - Butts Road - A345 - Stratford Road - Camp Hill - A360 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2023 and the closure will be required until 19 November 2023.

H) The Packway (Part), Durrington; from its junction with B3086 to its junction with Glover Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, patching works, road markings, adjustment of ironworks and associated works.
Alternative route via The Packway (unaffected length) - A345 - A303 - A360 - B3086 and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 25 October 2023.

I) Ansty Coombe Lane (Part), Ansty; from its junction with Kings Lane to its property known as Peartree Cottage to enable Wessex Water to carry out reinstatement and associated works.
Alternative route via Ansty Coombe Lane (unaffected length) -A30 north west to Ansty Coombe Lane - A30 - C25 - Ansty Coombe Lane (unaffected length) and vice versa.
This Order will come into operation on 16 October 2023 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 12:30 for 1 day.

For further information please contact SGN on 08700 500792. Orders A) to I) will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
SECTION 14(1) AND 14(7) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
East Gomeldon Road (Part), Idmiston; from its junction with Gomeldon Road to its junction with East Gomeldon Road. And to temporarily suspend the existing One Way Order on East Gomeldon Road, Idmiston to facilitate a diversion for traffic to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out a road crossing, trench in footway for new electricity connection and other associated works.
Alternative route via Gomeldon Road - Winterslow Road - A338 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 19 October 2023 and the closure will be required until 29 October 2023.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
