Rossmore Road/Ringwood Road, Temporary Closure/Restrictions due to Fibre Installation Works
What is happening?

ROSSMORE ROAD/RINGWOOD ROAD, POOLE - FIBRE INSTALLATION WORKS
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.
WHERE & WHAT: Rossmore Road, Poole closed to all vehicles from its junction with Ringwood Road to outside No. 6 (near junction of Kimmeridge Avenue) - no parking, no waiting, no loading/unloading. The segregated footway/ cycleway on Ringwood Road will be suspended during this phase of the works.
WHEN: From Monday 6 November up to and including Friday 24 November 2023. From 7pm to 6am daily, disturbance works to cease at 11 pm.
WHY: For safety whilst installation of fibre duct cabling is undertaken by CCN/CityFibre in conjunction with two-way temporary signals on Ringwood Road
ACCESS: Full Emergency Service access will be maintained. Access maintained for residents only depending on site safety. Residents will be informed by letter with further details of the road closure by CCN/CityFibre.
DIVERSION: remainder of Rossmore Road, Brixey Road and Rosemary Road

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
