A723, Strathaven Road, Hamilton Temporary Road Closure Order 2023
On 27/09/23 South Lanarkshire Council made the above named Order under Section 16 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on A723, Strathaven Road, Hamilton. The Order will be in operation during the following dates.
30 October 2023 until 5 April 2024
No person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on A723, Strathaven Road, Hamilton (between Ballantyne Drive and the roundabout accessing the Cala Homes development) by reason of road safety, excluding site traffic. The works will be carried out to ensure access for emergency services and local residents is maintained at all times.
Motorway Traffic diversion via, A723 Hamilton Road, A723 Commercial Road, A723 Green Street, A723 Townhead Street, A71 Kirk Street, A71 Stonehouse Road, A71 Strathaven Road, A71 Stonehouse bypass, Canderside Toll on to M74, M74 until junction 6 and off onto Motherwell Road, A723 Blackswell Lane, A723 Low Patrick Street, A723 Duke Street, A723 Gateside, A723 Portland Place, A723 Low Waters Road and A723 Strathaven Road.
Non-Motorway Traffic diversion via, A723 Hamilton Road, A723 Commercial Road, A723 Green Street, A723 Townhead Street, A71 Kirk Street, A71 Stonehouse Road, A71 Strathaven Road, A71 Stonehouse bypass, Canderside Toll on to B7078 Carlisle Road, B7078 Machan Road, B7078 Church Street, B7078 Union Street, B7078 Hamilton Road, B7078 Carlisle Road, A72 Carlisle Road, A72 Townhead Street, A723 Blackswell Lane, A723 Low Patrick Street, A723 Duke Street, A723 Gateside, A723 Portland Place, A723 Low Waters Road and A723 Strathaven Road.
