What is happening?

ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

VARIOUS ROADS AT MALTBY ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the seven parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice for periods of time between Monday 16th October and Monday 13th November 2023.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order is via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of telecommunication apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Brow Hill Road from its junction with Bevan Crescent to the end of the cul de sac.

(ii)   Gladstone Road from from its junction with Brow Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(iii)   Disraeli Grove from its junction with Palmerston Avenue to the end of the cul de sac.

(iv)   Dale Hill Close from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(v)   Quarry Field Lane from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(vi)   Yarwell Drive from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac. (vii) Redland Way from its junction with Clifton Rise to the end of the cul de sac.

(ii)   Bonington Rise from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac. (iii) Columbus Way from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(iv)   Thompson Close from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(v)   Armstrong Walk from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac. (vi) Aldrin Way from its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order is via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of telecommunication apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Clifton Rise from its junction with Bevan Crescent to the end of the cul de sac.

(ii)   Petal Close from its junction with Littlewood Way to the end of the cul de sac.

(iii)   Delta Way its junction with Grange Lane to the end of the cul de sac.

(iv)   Trueman Green its junction with Dale Hill Road to the end of the cul de sac.

(v)   Mortimer Road its junction with Sousa Street to its junction with Strauss Crescent.

(vi)   Lumley Crescent from its junction with Lumley Close for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction.

(vii)  Lumley Close from its junction with Lumley Crescent to the end of the cul de sac.(viii) Nelson Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF BARBERS AVENUE RAWMARSH ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles proceeding along Barbers Avenue from its junction with Aldwarke Road roundabout to its junction with Durham Way from Monday 23rd October until Saturday 28th October 2023.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via A6123 Great Eastern Way, A633 Broad Street, A633 Rawmarsh Hill, Bellows Road, Green Lane and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of new sewer connection).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

PART OF MANOR ROAD BRAMPTON BIERLOW ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Manor Road, Brampton Bierlow from its junction with B6089 Brampton Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction from Monday  23rd. October until Friday 27th. October 2023 between 8am and 5pm.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via B6089 Brampton Road, Westfield Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas renewal works).

PART OF SPRING DRIVE BRAMPTON BIERLOW ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Monday  23rd October until Wednesday 25th October 2023 between 8am and 5pm.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the two parts of road (Installation of telegraph poles).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Garden Drive from its junction with Springhill Avenue for a distance of approximately 100m in a south-westerly direction (the alternative route will be via B6089 Knollbeck Lane, Knollbeck Avenue and vice versa).

(ii)   Spring Drive from its junction with Garden Drive to its junction with Bierlow Close Footpath 3 (the alternative route will be via Garden Drive, Springhill Avenue and vice versa).

PART OF FAR CRESCENT EAST DENE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Far Crescent from its junction with Far Lane to its junction with North Road on Thursday 26th October and Friday 27th October 2023 between 8am and 5pm.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Far Lane, North Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecommunication works).

VARIOUS ROADS AT MOORGATE ROTHERHAM

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the fifteen parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice for periods of time between Monday 6th. November and Friday 15th. December 2023.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of telecommunication apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Hallam Road from a point approximately 70m south-east of its junction with Shoreham Avenue to its junction with Woodfoot Road.

(ii)   Hallam Road from its junction with Shoreham Avenue for a distance of approximately 25m in a north-westerly direction.

(iii)   Woodfoot Road from a point approximately 80m east of its junction with Lymister Avenue for a distance of approximately 40m in an easterly direction.

(iv)   Woodfoot Road from a point approximately 30m east of its junction with Whiston Footpath 8 for a distance of approximately 30m in an easterly direction.

(v)   Woodfoot Road from a point approximately 70m west of its junction with Whiston Footpath 8 for a distance of approximately 70m in a north-westerly direction.

(vi)   Haworth Crescent from its most eastern junction with Woodfoot Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south-westerly direction.

(vii)  Haworth Crescent from its most western junction with Woodfoot Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction.

(viii) Haworth Crescent from a point approximately 100m south of its most western junction with Woodfoot Road to its junction with Haworth Bank.

(ix)  Haworth Bank from its junction with Haworth Crescent to the end of the cul-de-sac.

(x)   Shoreham Road from its junction with Stafford Drive for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction.

(xi)  Shoreham Drive from its junction with Shoreham Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south-easterly direction.

(xii)  Shoreham Avenue from its junction with Lymister Avenue for a distance of approximately 50m in a north-easterly direction.

(xiii) Saxton Drive from its junction with Middle Drive for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction.

(xiv) Saxton Drive from its junction with Lymister Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in a westerly direction.

(xv)  Middle Drive from its junction with Lymister Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in a

westerly direction.
