Gorchymyn Cefnffordd Yr A470 (Cemaes A Chwm Llinau, Powys) (Gwahardd Cerbydau Dros Dro) 2023
Mae Gweinidogion Cymru wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A470, neu gerllaw iddi, yng Nghemaes a Chwm Llinau, Powys.  Effaith y Gorchymyn yw gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rheini a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys, ar gyfer y gwaith a cherbydau gwasanaethau cynnal a chadw yn ystod y gaeaf, rhag mynd ar: i.     y darn o gefnffordd yr A470 yng Nghemaes, Powys sy’n ymestyn o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen deheuol y pentref hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen gogleddol y pentref; a ii.     y darn o gefnffordd yr A470 yng Nghwm Llinau, Powys sy’n ymestyn o bwynt 200 metr i’r de o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen deheuol y pentref hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya parhaol ym mhen gogleddol y pentref. Sicrheir mynediad i breswylwyr lleol ar hyd y darnau a fydd ar gau. Ar gyfer pob cerbyd arall sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd, y llwybr arall fydd mynd ar yr A470 tua’r de i Lantwymyn, yr A489 tua’r de-orllewin i Fachynlleth, yr A487 tua’r gogledd i Cross Foxes a’r A470 tua’r de: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r de.  Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 30 Hydref 2023. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol dros nos yn unig (19:00 – 06:00 o’r gloch), yn ysbeidiol, o 30 Hydref 2023 hyd 28 Mawrth 2024 neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud ymaith yn barhaol.  Dim ond yn ystod y cyfnod a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall. The A470 Trunk Road (Cemmaes And Cwm Llinau, Powys) (Temporary Prohibition Of Vehicles) Order 2023
The Welsh Ministers have made an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A470 trunk road at Cemmaes and Cwm Llinau, Powys.  The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, other than those being used by the emergency services, for the works and winter maintenance service vehicles, from proceeding on: i.     the length of the A470 trunk road at Cemmaes, Powys that extends from the permanent 40 mph speed limit terminus sign at the southern end of the village to the permanent 40 mph speed limit terminus sign at the northern end of the village; and ii.     the length of the A470 trunk road at Cwm Llinau, Powys that extends from a point 200 metres south of the permanent 40 mph speed limit terminus sign at the southern end of the village to the permanent 40 mph speed limit terminus sign at the northern end of the village. Access for local residents will be maintained along the lengths of the closure. For all other northbound vehicles, the alternative route is via the southbound A470 to Cemmaes Road, south-westbound A489 to Machynlleth, northbound A487 to Cross Foxes and southbound A470: vice versa for southbound vehicles.  The Order comes into force on 30 October 2023. The temporary prohibition is expected to operate overnight only (19:00 – 06:00 hours) on an intermittent basis from 30 October 2023 until 28 March 2024 or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.  Although the Order is only expected to operate during the period specified above it will remain valid for a maximum period of 18 months, as a contingency, should the work need to be rescheduled or consequential or other work is required. Advance notice of any changes to times and dates will be displayed before any rescheduled work begins.
