TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A417 DUAL CARRIAGEWAY BETWEEN BARNETT WAY AND ZOON’S COURT ROUNDABOUT (HUCCLECOTE PARISH) TEWKESBURY DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A417 Dual Carriageway between Barnett Way and Zoons Court Roundabout from its junction with the C&G Roundabout to its junction with the Zoons Court Roundabout for a distance of approximately 900 metres. The reason for the closure is for resurfacing works relating to the A417.

The road is expected to be closed between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 (Nights Only) from 9th October 2023 until 14th October 2023 only, or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE C211 EDGE ROAD (PAINSWICK PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C211 Edge Road from its junction with Stroud Road to its junction with Gloucester Road, for a total distance of approximately 1890 metres (“the Road”).

The reason for the closure is to enable the overhead lines to be placed underground.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF U40530 MARKET LANE, GREET (WINCHCOMBE TOWN) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the U40530 Market Lane, Greet from outside the property known as Darton to outside the property known as Chapel Farm for a distance of approximately 80 metres.

The reason for the closure is for water main installation works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 481514 Seymour Road from its junction with Theresa Street to its junction with Robinhood Street for a distance of approximately 56 metres.

The reason for the closure is for water pipe renewal works. The said road is expected to be closed from 30th October 2023 until 2nd November 2023 or until the works have been completed. TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTPATH CLOSURE VARIOUS ROADS AND FOOTPATH 20A (VARIOUS PARISHES) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads and footpath as detailed in the schedule set out below.

The roads and footpath fall within the parishes identified in the schedule below all in the District of the Forest of Dean and in the County of Gloucestershire.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for Severn Trent to undertake trial holes prior to implementing major water main renewal works.

The roads and footpath are expected to be closed and restricted at various times on a rolling programme commencing 16th October 2023 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closure/restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads and footpath in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 16th December 2023. The reason for the closures and restrictions is for carriageway resurfacing works.

The roads are expected to be closed and restricted from 18th October 2023 until 19th October 2023 (nights only between 19:00 hrs and 07:00 hrs.) or until the works have been completed, whichever is later. Further advanced warnings of dates will be displayed by signs on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closures and restrictions of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required.

The reason for the closure and restriction is to enable telecom communication upgrade works to be carried out.

There will be no stopping or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.

The reason for the closure is for installation of a boundary box within the carriageway.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400344 Over Old Road from approximately 38m south of the property known as ‘Hillcrest’ to approximately 100m south of the property known as ‘Hillcrest’ for a total distance of approximately 62 metres.

The reason for the closure is for an existing communications pole to be replaced (a crane will be required for these works).

Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the footway on U60335 Walls Court from its junction with High Street to outside of the Ambulance Station for a distance of approximately 50 metres.

The reason for the footway closure is to enable building renovation works above and adjoining alleyway to be carried out.
