Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has received a planning application from Mrs Vera Palmer for a waste recycling facility solely handling, processing and storing road plannings; together with associated works and development at land off Ipswich Road, Langham, Essex, CO4 5LZ - Planning Application Ref: ESS/79/23/COL
The proposed development may not accord with the provisions of the Essex and Southend-on-Sea Waste Local Plan (adopted 2017) and/or Colchester City Council Local Plan - Section 1 (adopted February 2021) and Section 2 (adopted July 2022) in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated.
Footpath 47 Langham (FP 47 137) may be affected by the proposal.

(Feering Road, Coggeshall) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close that length of Feering Road, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Colchester Road for a distance of approximately 300m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 31st October 2023 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC00831OCTQQN267EA - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Openreach.An alternative route is available via Feering Road, East Street, Colchester Road, Coggeshall Bypass, A120, Broad Green, Coggeshall Road, Marks Tey Roundabout, A120 J A12 West Roundabout, Station Road, A120 From Marks Tey Roundabout to Prince Of Wales, A120 J A12 Between Roundabouts E, A12, Kelvedon Bypass and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 13th October 2023 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
