ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(ABTHORPE ROAD, SILVERSTONE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Abthorpe Road, Silverstone as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Abthorpe Road, Silverstone from outside of Bucknell Woods Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pipe

repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 14th November 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Church Street, Whittlebury Road, A43 and Wappenham Road.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(JENKINSON ROAD, TOWCESTER)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Jenkinson Road, Towcester as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Jenkinson Road, Towcester from the junction of Marlow Road to Blackwell Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a new water supply.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 8th November 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Marlow Road and Park View Road.

(PASSENHAM ROAD, OLD STRATFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Passenham Road, Old Stratford as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Passenham Road, Old Stratford from the church to county boundary.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during power line clearance.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A422, Towcester Road, High Street, Horsefair Green and Calverton Road.

(HILL STREET, BRACKLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hill Street, Brackley as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hill Street, Brackley from Manor Road to High Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during broadband installation.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for seven days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Church End, Potterspury as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Church End, Potterspury from High Street to Beech House Drive.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to five days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Yardley Road, High Street, Moorend Road, A5 and Poundfield Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Astrop Road, Kings Sutton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Astorp Road, Kings Sutton from Upper Astrop Road to Newbottle Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during structure works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 14th November 2023.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Green Lane, Main Street, Aynho Road, Charlton Road, Banbury Road, Aynho Road and Mill Lane.

(PUXLEY ROAD, DEANSHANGER)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Puxley Road, Deanshanger as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Puxley Road, Deanshanger from 96 Puxley Road to Greenacres.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works on main.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 30th October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for eight days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Glebe Road, Hayes Road and Puxley Road.

(BUTCHERS LANE, PATTISHALL)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Butchers Lane, Pattishall as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of

Butchers Lane, Pattishall from Pool Close to Church Street.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during sewer connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 25th October 2023 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for twenty-one days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Banbury Lane, Gayton Road, Camp Hill, Church Lane, Litchborough Road and A5.
