THE HILLINGDON (ON STREET PARKING PLACES)
(RUISLIP PARKING MANAGEMENT SCHEMES)
ZONES R1, R1(B), R2 & MW ORDER 2023
Hillingdon Council gives notice that on 6th October 2023 it
made the above Orders to amend the layout of the existing Stop
& Shop parking scheme on High Street, Ruislip between the
junctions of Kingsend/Pembroke Road and Ickenham Road/
Midcroft which includes:
i) Relocation of the goods vehicle loading bays to outside Nos.
77-79 & 81-83 High Street, Ruislip and to outside Nos. 108
to 112 High Street, Ruislip. Operational ‘Monday to Saturday
8am to 6.30pm’ in which goods vehicles may load or unload
for up to 20 minutes, loading bays positioned 0.8 metres partly
on the footway. Replace existing loading bays with pay &
display parking.
ii) Removal of the goods vehicle loading bay outside Nos. 142
and 144 High Street, Ruislip
iii) Relocation of the blue badge disabled parking bay from outside
No. 144a High Street, Ruislip into Brickwall Lane, replacing
the business permit holder parking place.
iv) Introduction of a short stay motorcycle parking bay outside
No. 144 High Street, Ruislip in which motorcyles may wait for
up to 20 minutes with no return within one hour, operational
‘at any time’.
v) Removal of the tidal flow parking, making all pay & display
parking bays operational ‘Monday to Saturday 8am to 6.30pm’
with a maximum stay of up to two hours with charges as
shown below.
vi) Amend sections of ‘at any time’ waiting restrictions as set out
in the Schedule to this notice.
vii) Apply ‘at any time’ loading restrictions at the junction of
Brickwall Lane and High Street, Ruislip

All above charges could be subject to change.
Copies of the Orders which will come into operation on
16th October 2023 can be seen by appointment at the Civic Centre,
Uxbridge during normal office hours, for six weeks following
the date on which this notice is published. Copies of the Orders
can be obtained from the Transport & Projects team, by email
parkingmanagementschemes@hillingdon.gov.uk. If any person
wishes to question the validity of these Orders or any of the
provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers
conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any
instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that
person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which these Orders
were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE – INSTALLATION OF ‘AT ANY TIME’
WAITING RESTRICTIONS
HIGH STREET, RUISLIP – The northeast side, from a point in line
with the common boundary of Nos. 121 and 123 High Street, to a
point in line with the northeastern flank wall of No. 129 High Street.
BRICKWALL LANE, RUISLIP
i) The northwest side, from a point in line with the northeastern
kerbline of High Street, northeastwards for a distance of
10.7 metres.
ii) The southeast side, from a point in line with the northeastern
kerbline of High Street to a point 28.6 metres southwest of the
southwestern boundary of No. 2 Brickwall Lane.
