(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIMITED WAITING BAY & TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily;

i. Prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along Lance Corporal Joel Halliwell VC Way on the south westerly side from a point 54 metres south east of a point opposite the south easterly kerb line of Old Hall Street for a distance of 52 metres in a south easterly direction,

ii. Suspend (part of) the Borough of Rochdale ((Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Middleton Township) Order 2008) (Amendment) (No.43) Order 2017

The Order is required for coach parking for attendees at the Safe Drive Stay Alive event 2023.

The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours each day from 1st November 2023 until 3rd November 2022, from 6th November 2023 until 9th November 2023 and from the 13th November 2023 until 17th November 2023.

(ADELAIDE STREET, HEYWOOD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) (No.2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Adelaide Street from its junction with Queens Park Road to its junction with John Street.

The Order is required to facilitate the laying of a new water main.

The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 25th October 2023 until 18.00 hours on 2nd November 2023.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Queens Park Road, Hardman Street, John Street and vice versa.

(ALKRINGTON HALL ROAD NORTH, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Alkrington Hall Road North from its junction with Manchester New Road to its junction with Dene Drive.

The Order is required to facilitate Gas Mains replacement works.

The Order will be operative from 09.30 hours until 15.30 hours each day from the 23rd October 2023 until 13th November 2023 as required.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester New Road, Hall Drive, Alkrington Hall, Alkrington Hall Road North and vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along Stamford Street from its junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Gregge Street.

The Order is required to facilitate carriageway repairs.

The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 16.30 hours each day from the 27th October 2023 until 31st October 2023 as required.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Manchester Road, Victoria Street, Gregge Street and vice versa.

(ADELAIDE STREET, HEYWOOD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along and from waiting at any time along Adelaide Street from its junction with John Street to its junction with Miller Street.

The Order is required to facilitate carriageway repairs.

The Order will be operative from 08.00 hours until 16.30 hours each day from the 12th October 2023 until 13th October 2023 as required.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Miller Street, Clarke Street, John Street and vice versa.

(SYCAMORE AVENUE, GLAMIS AVENUE, CORONATION AVENUE AND MIDDLETON ROAD, HEYWOOD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES, TEMPORARY ONE-WAY WORKING AND TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LEFT TURN) (No.2) ORDER 2023

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily;

i. Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Sycamore Avenue from its junction with Middleton Road for a distance of 25 metres in a north easterly direction,

ii. Prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Glamis Avenue (northerly junction with Middleton Road) from its junction with Middleton Road for a distance of 23 metres in an easterly direction,

iii. Introduce one-way working in a southerly direction along Middleton Road, from its junction with Sycamore Avenue for a distance of 79 metres in a southerly direction in so far as vehicles will not be permitted to travel along Middleton Road in a northerly direction from its junction with Coronation Avenue/Middleton Road Roundabout to its junction with Sycamore Avenue,

iv. Prohibit vehicles from undertaking a left turn manoeuvre from Coronation Avenue/Middleton Road Roundabout onto Middleton Road in a northerly direction.

The Order is required to facilitate the laying of a new water main and to allow for new connections onto the main.

The Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles Order affecting Sycamore Avenue will be operative from 09.30 hours until 16.30 hours each day from the 16th October 2023 until 23rd October 2023 as required.

The Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles, Temporary One-Way Working and Temporary Prohibition of Left Turn Order affecting Glamis Avenue, Coronation Avenue and Middleton Road will be operative from 07:30 hours on 16th October 2023 until 18:30 hours on 23rd October 2023.

There is no alternative route for vehicles wishing to access Sycamore Avenue.

The alternative route for vehicles wishing to access Glamis Avenue will be via Middleton Road and Glamis Avenue.

The alternative route for vehicles travelling along Middleton Road in a northerly direction and wishing to continue over the Coronation

Avenue/Middleton Road Roundabout onto Middleton Road is via Coronation Avenue, Manchester Road and Middleton Road.
