What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TICKOW LANE, SHEPSHED
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an
Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected
that the Order will come into force on 01/11/2023 and have a maximum
duration of 12 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works
will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for
up to 4 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public
safety to allow Severn Trent Water Ltd safely undertake works on meter
installations and any other various Utility and highway maintenance
works. The proposed diversion route will be via: A512 Ashby Road West,
Charnwood Road, Anson Road and vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AT ANY TIME
ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has
made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The
Order will come into force on 16/10/2023 and have a maximum duration
of 12 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works
will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for
up to 2 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public
safety to allow National Grid safely undertake new connection works
to an Electric Vehicle charging point and any other various Utility and
highway maintenance works.
The proposed diversion route for over height vehicles due to the bridge
on King Street will be via: – Mountsorrel Lane, A6 South bound,
Loughborough Road, Cossington Lane (Rothley), Syston Road, Main Street
(Cossington) and Cossington Road (Sileby).
The proposed diversion route for other traffic will be via:- King Street,
Swan Street and Brook Street.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council
has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984.
The Order will come into force on 16/10//2023 and have a maximum
duration of 12 months.
The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works
will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for
up to 4 weeks.
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public
safety to allow Newline Civils Ltd safely undertake works to construct
a new access in connection with the Davidson Homes Development and
any other various Utility and highway maintenance works. The proposed
diversion route will be via: Ratcliffe Road, Highgate Road and vice versa.
