Duchy Road & Egmont Street - Prohibition of Waiting
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The titles and effect of the Orders will be as follows
City of Salford (Duchy Road and Egmont Street, Claremont) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2023
No Waiting at Any Time on; Duchy Road - (i) NE side, from 10m NW of the N western extended kerbline of the North Western Access to Egmont St, to a point 10m SE of the south eastern extended kerbline ; and (ii) NE side from 10m NW of the N western extended kerb line of the south eastern Access to Egmont Set, to a point 10m SE of the south eastern extended kerbline of the south eastern Access to Egmont St.
Egmont Street - (i) North Western Access both sides, from the north eastern extended kerbline of Duchy Rd N easterly for 10m (ii) South Eastern Access - NW Side, from the N eastern extended kerb line of Duchy Rd in a north easterly direction for 10m ; and (iii) South Eastern Access - SE side from the NE extended kerbline of Duchy Rd north easterly for 7m
The City of Salford (Duchy Road) (20 mph Speed Limit) Order 2023
The Order shall prohibit any person from driving any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20mph on Egmont Street - from the north-western junction with Duchy Road, for its entire length to the south-eastern junction with Duchy Road.
Copies of the proposed Orders, a plan of the area and statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the above Order may be examined at Salford Civic Centre, Chorley Rd, Swinton, M27 5DA, 9.00am-4pm Monday to Friday.
