ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
(Low Way, Bramham, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: NO person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Low Way, Bramham, Leeds in the Wetherby Ward from its junction with Vicarage Lane and 5 Low Way. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Low Way, Town Hill, Front Street, Clifford Road, New Road, Vicarage Lane, Low Way and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 16 October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Dawlish Terrace, Burmantofts, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works) Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Dawlish Terrace, Leeds in the Burmantofts & Richmond Hill Ward at its junction with Dawlish Crescent. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Dawlish Crescent, Skelton Avenue, Ivy Avenue and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 6th November 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Whiteley Croft Road, Otley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Northern Gas Network works, Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Whiteley Croft Road, Otley, Leeds in the Otley & Yeadon Ward between its junction with Station Road and its junction with Newstead Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Whiteley Croft Road, Falcon Close, Burras Lane, Station Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. Monday 9th October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 20th October 2023. (Oak Tree Crescent, Gipton, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for gas mains replacement, Leeds City Council has today made an Order, the effect of which is as follows:- No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: 1. Oak Tree Crescent, Gipton, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with Oak Tree Crescent and North Farm Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Oak Tree Crescent, Oak Tree Mount, Oak Tree Grove, North Farm Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to operate from: a. 00:00 hours on Tuesaday10th October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Manor Road, Holbeck, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Construction of Copenhagen junction crossing as part of a wider scheme.) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel Westbound along Manor Road, Holbeck, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward, between its junctions with Victoria Road and David Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Meadow Lane, Victoria Road, Water Lane, David Street Sweet Street, Marshall Street, Manor Road. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained businesses to access their car parking and allow the car club bays to operate. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 23rd October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (York Place, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Parking bay suspension required for City Fibre works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use parking bays along York Place, Leeds, in the Little London and Woodhouse ward, outside number 16 to its junction with Britannia Street. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 26th October 2023 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 27th October 2023. The parking bay suspension will be in place between 08:00 and 17:00 hrs on each day. A Coultate. Ref: RC301673. (Non Definitive Footpath, Leeds, Diadem Drive Subway) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned footpath Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed along Diadem Drive Subway, starting next to number 22 Diadem Drive to the Junction of Whitebridge Crescent/Whitebridge Spur. DIVERSIONARY ROUTE: A diversionary route for pedestrians will be York Road, Selby Road, Dunhill Rose, Whitebridge Crescent. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 16th October 2023 and will remain in force for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. It is anticipated the works will be carried out between 10am and 4pm on 16th October 2023. (Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restrictions) (No. W35) Order 2014 Amendment No 1 Order 2023 Crossgates & Whinmoor Consolidation Order
Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Orders under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:-
1. No Waiting at any time on parts of: Church Lane, Cross Gates; Coal Road, Whinmoor; Dennil Crescent, Manston; Manston Primary School Access Road, Manston; Dennil Road, Manston; Hebden Approach, Whinmoor; Red Hall Approach, Whinmoor; Red Hall Lane, Shadwell; Ringwood Drive, Whinmoor; Sherburn Road North, Whinmoor; The Courtyards, Whinmoor; Victoria Road, Whinmoor; White Laithe Approach, Whinmoor.
2. No Stopping on School Entrance Markings: Church Lane, Crossgates, the east side – from a point 56 metres south of its junction with the projected southern kerb line of Dennil Road for a distance of 31.5 metres in a southerly direction; Dennil Road, Manston, the south side – from a point 23 metres east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Church Lane for a distance of 25.5 metres in an easterly direction. Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (inclusive)
3. On Street Time Limited Parking: Hebden Approach, Whinmoor, the north-west side – from a point 136 metres north east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Coal Road for a distance of 83 metres in a north easterly direction; the south side – from a point 11.5 metres east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Coal Road for a distance of 6 metres in an easterly direction; the south side – from a point metres 16 metres north east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Hebden Place for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction; the south-east side – from a point 34.5 metres east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Coal Road for a distance of 11 metres in an easterly direction; the south-east side – from a point metres 33 metres north east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Hebden Place in a north easterly direction for a distance of 6.5 metres; the south-east side – from a point metres 44.5 metres north east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Hebden Place in a north easterly direction for a distance of 14 metres; the south-east side – from a point 89 metres south west of its junction with the projected south western kerb line of Hebden Green in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5 metres; the south-east side – from a point 44 metres south west of its junction with the projected south western kerb line of Hebden Green in a south westerly direction for a distance of 38 metres; the south-east side – from a point 24.5 metres south west of its junction with the projected south western kerb line of Hebden Green in a south westerly direction for a distance of 5 metres; the south-east side – from a point 11.5 metres south west of its junction with the projected south western kerb line of Hebden Green in a south westerly direction for a distance of 16 metres; the south-east side – from a point 23 metres east of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of Coal Road for a distance of 6 metres in an easterly direction. Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (inclusive) 4 Hours No Return Within 1 Hour with the exemption of a person who has been issued a permit authorised by the Council.
4. The revocation of existing items as identified in the draft Order Schedules.
