Teignbridge District Council Parking Charges

What is happening?

NOTICE is hereby given that Teignbridge District Council intend to make an Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend and revoke the District of Teignbridge (Off-Street Parking Places) Order April 2023 and all previous Orders.

The effect of the Order is: -
(a) To vary, increase and add new charging periods and charges. Where the charges have been varied the previous charge is shown at columns 6a and 7a
(b) To add residents parking permits within the New Road car park, Starcross and the Fore Street car park, Kingskerswell.

To make other minor amendments to the April 2023 Order and to incorporate the charges and conditions contained in the Schedule below.

The Off-Street Parking Places to which the Order relates are set out in the Schedule below.

A copy of the draft Order and statement of reasons may be examined at the Multi Storey car park office, The Multi Storey car park, Sherborne Road, Newton Abbot, TQ12 2QX by appointment only (phone 01626 215859) to arrange. The draft Order can also be viewed on the Council’s website at www.teignbridge.gov.uk

All objections or other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing, to Tonya Short, Parking Services Manager, Forde House, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot, Devon TQ12 4XX within 21 days of the publication of this notice. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
