(U12438 Shrubbery Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of U12438 Shrubbery Street from its junction with C2199 Hurcott Road for a distance of 39 metres southbound.

Reason: New/Replacement Gas Main by Cadent gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2199 Hurcott Road, U12439 Roden Avenue, A456 Birmingham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days. Commencing: 9 October 2023.

(U13212 Austcliffe Road, Cookley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13212 Austcliffe Road from its junction with C2013 Castle Road to its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Road.

Reason: To provide safe working for accessing BT pole by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2013 Castle Road, A449 Wolverhampton Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 31 October 2023.

(U13600 Deansford Lane, Blakedown) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U13600 Deansford Lane from its junction with A456 Birmingham Road for a distance of 430 meters in a south-easterly direction.

Reason: Bridge maintenance by Network Rail.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Anticlockwise: A456 Birmingham Road, U12527 Husum Way, U12540 Tennyson Way, U12527 Borrington Road, A448 Comberton Road, A448 Stone Hill, A448 Bromsgrove Road, A450 Worcester Road, U13600 Deansford Lane; Diversion Clockwise: A450 Worcester Road, U13406 Sandy Lane, U13406 New Wood Lane, A456 Birmingham Road.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 29 October 2023.

(A456 St Marys Ringway, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Order made: To close that part of A456 St Marys Ringway from its junction with A451 Blackwell Street to its junction with U12162 Lower Mill Street.

Reason: Carriageway patching and resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A456 Bewdley Road, A4535 Sutton Road, A451 Stourport Road, A451 The Ringway and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (19:00-06:00) between the period of 9 October to 20 October 2023.

(U11500 Lickhill Road, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U11500 Lickhill Road from its junction with U11521 Moorhall Lane to its junction with U11527 Vernon Road.

Reason: Electricity cable replacement by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U11500 Lickhill Road, U11500 Lower Lickhill Road, U11500 Lickhill Road North, B4195 Bewdley Road North, B4195 Bewdley Road, B4195 Lombard Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 30 October 2023.

(U12439 Roden Avenue, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of U12439 Roden Avenue from its junction with C2199 Hurcott Road to its junction with A456 Birmingham Road.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2199 Hurcott Road, U12438 Shrubbery Street, A456 Birmingham Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24hrs). Commencing: 30 October 2023.

(B4549 Sutton Park Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4549 Sutton Park Road from its junction with U12040 Whitegate Drive to its junction with U12129 Perrin Avenue.

Reason: Sewer works by Chasetown Civil Engineering Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A456 Bewdley Road, A4535 Sutton Road, A451 Stourport Road, B4549 Sutton Park Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 30 October 2023.

(C2030 Station Road, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2030 Station Road from its junction with C2030 Old Worcester Road to its junction with C2030 Walton Road.

Reason: Level crossing railway maintenance by Network Rail.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2030 Walton Road, C2030 Rylands Lane, C2145 Crown Lane to Elmley Lovett, C2144 Crown Lane, A449 Worcester Road, C2030 Old Worcester Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 nights (21:00-06:00). Commencing: 28 October 2023.

(C2141 Lincomb Lane, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2141 Lincomb Lane from its junction with U40015 Lincomb Bank to its junction with Winnall Lane (Private).

Reason: Void investigation and repairs by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2141 Lincomb Lane, C2141 Lodge Bank, C2142 Bishops Wood Road, C2142 Bishops Wood Lane, A4025 Stourport Road, C2141 Lincomb Lane and vice versa.

(C2019 Wolverley Village, Wolverley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2023

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2019 Wolverley Village from its junction with B4189 Wolverley Road to its junction with U13229 Church Bank.

Reason: Bridge works maintenance by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of A451 Dunley Road from its junction with B4194 Ribbesford Road for a distance of 305 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Utility works by Openreach

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4193 Hartlebury Road from its junction with A4025 Worcester Road to its junction with U10041 Millfields Drive.

Reason: Carriageway reconstruction by Shannonside Civil Engineering.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Clockwise diversion - A4025 Worcester Road, A451 Mitton Street, A451 Vale Road, A451 Minster Road, A451 Stourport Road, A4420 Silverwoods Way, A442 Worcester Road, A449 Hoobrook Roundabout, A449 Worcester Road, B4193 Rectory Lane, B4193 Stourport Road, B4193 Hartlebury Road. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Worcestershire County Council (Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2023 [Prohibition of Waiting on James Road & Hurcott Road, Kidderminster]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:-

Hurcott Road (North side): from its junction with James Road for a distance of 9m in an easterly direction and 12m in a westerly direction.

James Road (West side) from its junction with Hurcott Road for a distance of 13.6m in a northerly direction. James Road (East side) from its junction with Hurcott Road for a distance of 14.5m in a northerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
