North Yorkshire Council, PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING) (AMENDMENT NO 27) ORDER 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that on 22/09/2023 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1 (1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision of Parking) (District of Ryedale) Consolidation Order 2013' by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- SCHEDULE 1 PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PROVISION OF PARKING Road in the VILLAGE OF SHERIFF HUTTON NO WAITING AT ANY TIME 1, Cobble Lane, West Side, From a point of the junction with Church End northwards for a distance of 9 metres and westward for a distance of 3.7 metres. 2. West End, North Side, Northern edge of centre island between West End and Finkle Street, for a distance of 8.5 metres. 3, Church End, North Side, From a point 83.5 metres west of the junction with Cobble Lane, westward for a distance of 4.1 metres. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 16/10/2023, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and Strensall Library, Strensall during normal office hours from 04/10/2023 to 3/11/2023 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks of 22/09/2023 make application to the High Court for the purpose. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC Teal Lane, Pickering ORDER 2023 NO 345 We intends to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Teal Lane, Pickering due to the replacement of the gas main. The maximum duration of this Order will be from 23/10/23 until 30/11/23 inclusive, however it is envisaged that the restriction will be in force for 2 weeks during this timescale. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs and a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING Highfield Road and Pasture Lane, Malton and Scarborough Road, Parliament Street and Parliament Avenue, Norton-on-Derwent ORDER 2023 NO 351) We intends to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from parking on Highfield Road and Pasture Lane, Malton and Scarborough Road, Parliament Street and Parliament Avenue, Norton-on-Derwent due to surfacing works. The maximum duration of this Order will be from 23/10/23 until 31/03/24 inclusive, however it is envisaged that the restriction will be in force for up to ten weeks in total, with the works done in phases on different sections of the roads. TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF WEIGHT LIMIT Castlegate, Malton ORDER 2023 NO 352 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED) North Yorkshire Council intends to make this Order to suspend the weight limit on Castlegate, Malton due to surfacing works in the towns. The maximum duration of this Order will be from 23/10/23 until 31/03/24 inclusive, however it is envisaged that this suspension will be in force for ten weeks during this timescale. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs and a local alternative route will also be signed on site where appropriate. NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES EXCEPT FOR ACCESS) (PICKERING, MARKET PLACE) ORDER 2023 NOTICE is hereby given that North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1 (1), 2(1), 2(2) and 3(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along Pickering, Market Place except for access to premises or land adjacent to that road in circumstances detailed in the said Order. Notice of Confirmation of a Public Path Diversion Order Highways Act 1980 North Yorkshire Council Public Bridleway No. 25.126/009 & Public Footpath No. 25.126/306, High Kingthorpe, Lockton, Diversion Order 2021. On 9.8.23, The Planning Inspectorate confirmed the above Order made under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the Public Bridleway and Public Footpath as described; Public Bridleway No. 25.126/009. From GR SE8381 8659 and running east then north east, through a farm yard to GR SE8398 8660 and running east through a grass field to GR SE8409 8660, will be diverted onto a new line from GR SE8381 8659 and running south east to a bridle gate at GR SE8394 8653 and continuing north east across a grass field to GR SE8409 8660. Public Footpath No. 25.126/306. From GR SE8398 8660 and running south east to GR SE8403 8649, will be diverted onto a new line from GR SE8394 8653 and running south east across a grass field to GR SE 8400 8642, where the path joins Footpath No. 25.126/211. The Order comes into force on the date on which the Authority certifies, in accordance with Section 119(3)(b) of the 1980 Act, that work to the new section of path, described in Part 2 of the Schedule, has been completed, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 4.10.2023, make an application to the High Court.
