TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 1, WHITTON

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 1, Whitton from Old Norwich Road, lpswicli for 50 metres westbound to facilita1e the replacement of electricity cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Old Norwich Road,Emerald Avenue,Footpath 15, Whitton and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023 - 27/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A143 Bury Road, Stanton from 30 metres north of Rose and Crown Court for 30 metres northbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A140, the A1120, the A14, the A134 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure willoperate on 01/10/2023 from 7am - 5pm but,if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the 81063 Folley Road, Hundon from 50 metres south of the junction with Black Grove Lane for 50 metres southbound to facilitate the installation of a new water main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the 81063, the A143, the 81061, the A1017, the A1092, the 81063 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023 - 07/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U5934 Stock Hill, Langham from 210 metres south of Town House Road for 30 metres southbound to facilitate the installation of a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The aivers1on route will be lxworth Road, The Causeway, Badwell Road, The Street, Badwell Ash, Hunston Road, The Street, Hunston and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023- 04/10/2023but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads;

• U2310 Benhall Green, Benhall from Honeysuckle Cottage and Beacon View

• U2310 Aldecar Lane, Benhall at the junction with Benhall Green.

This is to facilitate telecommunication works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be A140, Kettle Lane, Flordon Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023- 04/10/2023from 9.30am- 3pm

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8539 Harrow Street, Leavenheath from Vine Collage to the junction with The Ridings to facilitate fibre installation. Other co­ ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Harrow Street, the B1068, the A134 and vice ver.sa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023 - 06/10/2023but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following footways in the followingphases;

1. Footway from beside number 13 Tern Close to beside number 23 Gannett Close, Haverhill

2. Footway from Woodcock Close to Kingfisher Close, Haverhill

3. Footway from Rosefinch Close to Jay Close, Haverhill

This is to facilitate laying gas mains. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion routes will be;

1. Gannett Close, Chalkstone Way, Millfields Way,Footway from Millfields Way to Tern Close and vice versa.

2. Kingfisher Close, Chalkstone Way,Millfields Way, Footway from Millfields Way to Tern Close, Footway from Tern Close to Woodcock Close and vice versa.

3. Footway from Rosefinch Close to Woodcock Close, Footway from Woodcock Close to Kingfisher Close, Chalkstone Way, Jay Close and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate in the following phases;will operate in thefollowing phases;

1. 02/10/2023 - 13/10/2023

2. 16/10/2023 - 27/10/2023

3. 30/10/2023 - 10/11/2023

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

2. Closed from the junction with Old Farm Road to the junction with Ingate.

This will be to facilitate a gas mains replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Cow and Sheep Drove, Hurdle Drove, Beeches Road, The Green, Cow and Sheep Drove and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023 - 04/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNES WEIGHT RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE A137 WHERSTEAD ROAD AND BRIDGE STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A137 Bridge Street, Ipswich from Grafton Way for 125 metres southbound to facilitate repairs to a manhole cover.Other co­ ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:

1. Foundry Lane, College Street and no vice versa

2. Grafton Way, Commercial Road, West End Road, theA1214, theA12, theA137 and no vice versa

For the duration of this closure there will be a temporary suspension of the 7.5 tonnes weight restriction on the A137 Wherstead Road, Ipswich.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8100 BUXHALL ROAD, BRETTENHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8100 Buxhall Road, Brettenham from the junction with Buggs Lane for 200 metres eastbound to facilitate the construction of highway accesses and kerbing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Bug s Lane, Hares Road, Buxhafl Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023 - 13/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3038 Hutland Road,Ipswich from Khartoum Road to Sidegate Lane and the U3040 Khartoum Road, Ipswich from Hutland Road to Woodbridge Road to facilitate the installation of a trench for fibre ducting works. Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1554 Garland Street, Bury St Edmunds from the junction with Pump Lane for 40 metres northbound to facilitate a gas service disconnection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this perioa. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

T_he diver.sion route will be Cannon Street, Northgate Street, Looms Lane with no vice ver.sa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the U1554 Garland Street from Cannon Street to Looms Lane to allow access and egress.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 02/10/2023 - 04/10/2023 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
