DEARNE VALLEY PARKWAY, GOLDTHORPE
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
An order has been made to introduce the following restrictions on Dearne Valley Parkway, Goldthorpe, from 7 October 2023 for approximately 3 months:
· Temporary 40mph speed restriction from Fields End Roundabout to a point 200 metres east of Fields End Roundabout.
· Temporary 30mph speed restriction from a point 200 metres east of Fields End Roundabout to a point 200 metres west of the junction with Doncaster Road.
· Temporary 40mph speed restriction from a point 200 metres west of the junction with Doncaster Road to the junction with Doncaster Road.
· Prohibition of pedestrians, riding of pedal cycles, ridden or accompanied horses and horse-drawn vehicles on Dearne Valley Parkway between Fields End Roundabout and Doncaster Road. An alternative route is available via Doncaster Road/Barnsley Road/Fields End Road.
Restrictions will be implemented as required and in conjunction with the existing temporary road closure.
