What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) C157 (Part), Corsham; from its junction with C150 to its junction with Road Past Sparrows Barton to C157 to enable Gigaclear to carry out works to clear blockages in the carriageway and verge, and other associated works. Alternative route via Road Past Sparrows Barton to C157 - C163 - C150 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 October 2023 and the closure will be required until 07 November 2023. B) The Star (Part), Holt; from the road outside its property known as No.01 Avonfield for a distance of approximately 130m in a south westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out laying a new replacement sewer and associated works. Alternative route via The Star (unaffected length) - Ham Green - B3107 - Station Road - The Star (unaffected length) and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C) C155 (Part), Lacock; from its property known as The Rising Sun to its property known as Griffin Farm to enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out new electrical connections works and associated works. Alternative route via C155 (unaffected length) - A342 - A3102 - C165 - C155 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 October 2023 and the closure will be required until 03 November 2023. D) Emms Lane (Part), Bratton; from its junction with B3098 to outside its property known as No.02 Emms Lane to enable Wessex Water to carry out stop tap and associated works. Alternative route via Emms Lane (unaffected length) - Tyning Lane - B3098 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 October 2023 and the closure will be required for 2 days. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. Orders A) to D) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO.30) 2023 (REF TTRO 9005)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway patching, surface dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 23 October 2023 for a maximum period of 18 months. The closures are anticipated to be for up to 5 days but only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 23 October 2023 and 01 December 2023. Schedule 1. Castle Road, Bratton; from its junction with Long River Road to its junction with Westbury Road. 2. Fairwood Road, Dilton Marsh; from its junction with Wood Road to its junction with B3099. 3. Eden Grove, Melksham; from its junction with Top Lane for its entire length. 6. Brook Road, Trowbridge; from is junction with Wingfield Road to its junction with Bradford Road. 7. Rutland Crescent, Trowbridge; from its junction with A363 to its junction with Dursley Road. 8. Ashmead, Trowbridge; from its Southwest junction with Rutland Crescent to its Northeast junction with Rutland Crescent. 9. Melton Road, Trowbridge; from its junction with Seymour Road to its junction with Jenkins Street. 10. Langford Road, Trowbridge; from outside property known as No.01 Langford Road to its junction with Francis Street. 11. Victoria Road, Trowbridge; from its junction with the Down to its junction with A361. 12. Kings Road (Part), Easterton; from outside property known as No.27 Kings Road to its junction with B3098. Alternative routes (vice versa). 1. via Long River Road - Newtown - B3098. 2. via Wood Road -Bradley Road - Westbury Road. 3. No alternative route is available. 4. via A363 - Westbury Road - A350 - Laverton Road - Camargue Road - A3098 - Tanyard Way. 5. No alternative route is available. 6. via Bradford Road - Wingfield Road. 7. via Dursley Road - Holbrook Lane - A363. 8. via Rutland Crescent. 9. via Langford Road - James Street - Seymour Road. 10. via Melton Road - Jenkins Street. 11. via Wyke Road - B3105 - A361. 12. via B3098 - Grove Road - Parsonage Lane - Kings Road (unaffected length). SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (VARIOUS ROADS, VARIOUS PARISHES) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO.27) 2023 (REF TTRO 8939)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The Order, which previously came into operation on 31 July 2023 will now recommence on 04 October 2023. It is required to enable carriageway micro asphalt dressing and associated maintenance works. The Order has a maximum duration period of 18 months. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The closures are anticipated to take place between 04 October 2023 and 31 October 2023. Schedule 1.
