What is happening?

WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

East Ave, Stockton Heath (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on East Ave from its jct. with London Rd to its jct. with London Rd Passageway rear of 93 to 109. The Order will be effective from 16th October 2023 for 1 week. The alternative route will be via London Rd, Grappenhall Rd, Sandy Ln & vice versa & via London Rd, Sandy Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to carry out electrical works in the carriageway.

Winwick Ln, Croft (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Winwick Ln from its jct. with M6 jct. 22 to its jct. with Stone Pit Ln. The Order will be effective from 16th October 2023 for 4 days, between 9:30am & 3:30pm. The alternative route will be via Winwick Link Rd, Newton Rd, Winwick Rd, Mill Ln, Southworth Rd, Newton Rd & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Openreach to carry out telegraph pole replacement works. Ref: 3566764

Alder Root Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Alder Root Ln from its jct. with Alder Ln to the borough boundary with St Helens. The Order will be effective from 9pm on 1st October 2023 to 6am on Monday 2nd October 2023. The alternative route will be via Alder Ln, Hollins Ln. Newton Rd, Winwick Rd, Mill Ln, Church St, High St, Crow Ln East & vice versa or via Alder Ln, Fir Tree Ln, Lumber Ln, Collins Green Ln, Penkford Ln, Pennington Ln, Common Rd, Crow Ln West, Crow Ln East & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Network Rail to carry out a detailed examination of the bridge structure.

Lovely Lane Cyclops Junction (Prohibition of Driving & Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 20th July 2023. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving & footway closure as follows:

(1) Lovely Ln from its jct. with Bewsey Rd/Lodge Ln/Folly Ln, to a point approx. 65m in a south westerly direction;

(2) Lodge Ln from its jct. with Bewsey Rd/Folly Ln/Lovely Ln, to a point approx. 75m in a north westerly direction;

(3) Folly Ln from its jct. with Bewsey Rd/Lodge Ln/Lovely Ln, to a point approx. 95m in a north easterly direction;

(4) Bewsey Rd from its jct. with Lodge Ln/Folly Ln/Lovely Ln, to a point approx. 105m in a south easterly direction;

(5) Boteler Ave from its most southerly point, to a point approx. 25m north. The Order is effective from 7th August 2023 for 16 weeks, however there is a revised date for the following phase of the works: Items 1 - 4, Road Closure - Starting 30/10/23 for 3 weeks, between 7pm & 11pm. The alternative route & reason for the works remains the same as previously advertised. Ref: 121790

The temporary restrictions will be in place as & when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.

The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 61) Order 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows:

1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Woodyatt Way (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Rushgreen Rd for a distance of 62m in a south easterly direction.

The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Woodyatt Way (Both Sides) - From its jct. with Rushgreen Rd for a distance of 62m in a south easterly direction.
