TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS - PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND DISABLED PARKING PLACES ON EAST STREET IN TITCHFIELD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council ("the Council") proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 122 of the Act, Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to implement prohibition of waiting restrictions and to implement a disabled parking place as outlined in the schedules below:

Schedule I - No Waiting at Any Time

ROAD East Street SIDE North LENGTH From its junction with Mill Street to a point 14 metres east.

ROAD East Street SIDE South LENGTH From a point 12 metres west of its junction with Chapelside to a point 70 metres east.

ROAD Chapelside SIDE Both LENGTH From its junction with East Street to a point 10 metres south.

Schedule II

- Disabled Parking Place

ROAD High Street SIDE West LENGTH From a point 20 metres south of its junction with Southampton Hill to a point 6 metres further south.

FURTHER DETAILS: A copy of this notice, the proposed order, a map showing the location and effect of the proposal, a statement of reasons varied may be viewed at https://www.hants.gov.uk/community/publicnotices/?typeid=5 or inspected during the usual office hours at the following places:

(i) Stubbington Library, Stubbington Lane, Stubbington, Fareham, PO14 2PP (Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday & Friday: 09.30 - 17.00; Saturday: 09.30 - 13.30)

(ii) Fareham Borough Council, Civic Offices Customer Services, Civic Way, Fareham, P016 7AZ (Opening hours: Monday to Friday 08.45 - 17.15)

(iii) Hampshire County Council Headquarters, The Castle, Winchester, S023 8UJ (Opening hours : Mondays to Thursdays 8.30 - 5.15; Fridays 8.30 - 4.45)

(iv) Copies of the draft order, plans and statement of reasons can also be obtained by e-mailing public.notices@hants.gov.uk or by writing to Traffic Orders Team, Safer Roads and Parking, Economy, Transport and Environment, 2nd Floor, Elizabeth II Court West, The Castle, Winchester S023 8UD quoting reference: A2016b/MJB

OBJECTIONS AND OTHER REPRESENTATIONS: All objections/other representations in respect of this proposal must be made in writing to The Castle, Winchester, S023 8UD or email public.notices@hants.gov.uk quoting reference:- [A2016b/MJB], by Friday 20th October 2023. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. Under the requirements of current access to information legislation, any statement you make to the Council in response to this Notice may be made available to the press and to the public, who would be entitled to take copies of it if they so wished.

TITLE: The order, if made, will be known as "The Hampshire (Fareham) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2023 (Variation No. 2) (East Street, Titchfield) Order 2023"
